[Carol's P.O.V]
I woke up this morning, and saw Dustin. He was still on the table, staring at me with a death glare. He didn't seem too happy. "Hey Dustin, what's wrong?"
"You're what's wrong!" Dustin yelled.
"Excuse me?" I said, hurt.
"You heard me you bi**h!" He yelled.
"Ted, get the restraints!" I yelled at him.
He woke up startled, placed the restraints on the table, put three across Dustin's body, and secured them tightly. He wouldn't be able to lash out at anyone, his arms were pushed up to the sides of his body. He couldn't sit up, hit, or kick anyone. He could growl and snarl all he wanted, it wasn't going to phase anyone. If Dustin decided to scream and yell, we'd just sedate him, that's the easy way out of that.
"Ted, good job with those restraints." I commented.
"Thanks." He responded.
"By the way, Happy July the Fourth." I said.
"You too."
"Alright, Dustin's tied up and angry again. You said yesterday that Angela and Connor didn't have the Nanovirus, correct?"
"Yes ma'am." Ted responded.
"Are you sure?" I asked for clarification.
"Yes, I'm sure. The Research Center said that they didn't see it, so supposedly they don't have it." Ted responded.
"Ha! You said 'Supposedly'. So they might have it and it went by the researcher's radars. We should look again, because it's not what you might think it is. It could have mutated again, and they didn't recognize it. It could still have the same effects as the previous Nanovirus, but it could be more potent this time." I explained.
"You're right. We should check the diagnosis again." Ted said.
"Yeah, we should. Let's go." I said, gesturing out the door.
We walked out and left Dustin to snarl, and growl and bark obscenities. The people in the waiting room, were probably wondering what the screaming was, but they didn't need to know yet. This wasn't a National Pandemic. At least not yet.
Ted and I walked into the Filing Room and looked up the Nanovirus that we decided should be called NV-DUS-1. There have been three blood tests for this virus, and the Research Center only thinks that there was Dustin, but I'm here to prove that it's also in Angela and Connor's body as well.
I looked at the diagnosis sheet, it had a picture of the molecular level of the blood sample. I couldn't believe what I saw. It was NV-DUS-1 Nanovirus! It had mutated from the original that was in Dustin's system. "Ted this isn't good. You gave them false information! They're happy for themselves even though they have the virus. We need to tell them." I said, running out of the filing room with the papers.
Ted didn't even say a word before I was out and over to Angela and Connor. "Angela, Connor. I have bad news, it turns out that you do have the virus." I said not having any hesitation.
"Really?" Angela asked awestruck.
"I'm afraid so. It had mutated and the Research Center didn't catch it, but you have it, and I'm sorry that we gave you false information." I explained.
"Well, that's not good, what do we do now?" Angela asked.
"Um, we could get you two on a couple of operating tables, and make sure you don't attack yourselves. That's the best I can think of. If....." I lowered my voice to a whisper. "If....the others around you have the virus, then we'll have to do something for them too. It's standard procedure. If they have it, and they've given to others without even knowing it, then we could have an outbreak. We don't need that. So, we might have to do blood tests for everyone here, but we'd have to run that by the head nurse. Then if I have it, because I've been working with Dustin, then stuff's going to get real, and what about the people who loaded Dustin into the ambulance, and the people who rolled him to the Operating Room. Oh sh** this is not going to be good."
"Yeah, you're right. We could have something going around here and nobody knows about it. So what are you guys going to do?" Angela responded.
"I don't know. I guess we can strap you guys to a couple of operating tables, and make sure that you don't attack yourselves. Then we'll go from there." I turned, and looked at Ted. He finally got here, maybe he had already been there but in the rant that I had, I never noticed. "Ted, get this couple to the operating room." I whispered.
"Alright. Let's go Angela and Connor." Ted said, gesturing for them to follow him to the operating room.
I followed Ted to the operating room. Dustin was still strapped to the table. His eyes were darting around crazily. He couldn't focus on just one spot, his eyes were darting. Something else to add to the diagnosis sheet. Great, his condition is getting worse. "Dustin, can you hear me?" I asked.
"Yes. I can hear you." Dustin snarled.
"Well, that's good." I smiled.
It was sad to see Dustin not happy.
Ted was strapping Angela and Connor to their operating tables. They didn't hesitate. They had to do this for the better.

I was still in the operating room when I heard lots of bloody murder screams. I ran out of the operating room, and saw the waiting room. It was awful.
There were at least fifteen bodies sprawled out across the floor, all had torn clothes, and blood all over them. It was pooling on the marble floor. It made me sick.
We had to stop this. It was getting worse, and worse. This could turn into an epidemic, people could die. The whole world could be wiped out. Humanity would be gone. What if the Nano-Virus spread to animals? If people ate infected animals, would that spread the disease, would that speed up infection rates?
Oh dear, this was going to be bad.
Twenty-five hospital staff got the bodies onto gurneys, and rolled them into the increasingly shrinking Operating Room. This was not going to be good.
We'll have to get the details about what happened from the victims. It was going to be another long day.
When I sighed, Angela and Connor started fighting their restraints. They were trying to attack their chest area. At least they wouldn't.
This was getting bad.
Do the nurses have the Nanovirus?
Will they go crazy?
What will happen to the Hospital infrastructure?
Will the world go into chaos?
