[Angela's P.O.V]

We're currently on an aircraft loaded with the cure. What used to be a luxury commercial airline has been converted into a bland army style aircraft with rock hard seats lined along the edges of the aircraft with shabby looking four-point harnesses. I'm currently strapped into one, and the light turbulence is shattering my spine into small broken shards of bones.

"Ted, I just cannot believe that this cure is so close to being distributed. Hopefully everything will go well." I said.

"Yeah Angela. Hopefully everything will go well," Ted said, sounding a bit pessimistic.

"Why do you sound pessimistic?" I asked dramatically.

"Because there's always something that might go wrong when we distribute a cure." Ted explained.

"Okay, but nothing is going to go wrong because it's all been planned out. They've crossed their Ts and dotted their I's. They've checked it once and checked it twice, said goodbye to the mice and rolled the dice."

"Knock on wood." He drawled out.

"Alright we'll see if anything goes wrong and if something does you can say I told you so." I responded. "Now, I don't recommend that you take a seat at the moment, your spine would be broken."

"You do know that they have inflatable cushions right?" He questioned.

"Are you serious?" I asked flabbergasted. Seriously, if they had cushions I would marry it.

"Yeah, there's a green strap on the left side of the seat, pulled that up and it'll inflate." He responded.

I looked down to my left, and sure enough there was a green strap that read 'inflate'. I pulled it and the cushion inflated. So that was why the seats had that dull green tracing. It signified the cushion. Good idea to whoever invented the inflatable cushion. The ride was now much softer and my back could finally start repairing itself.

The captain of the plane come on over the intercom and began speaking. "Hello folks shortly we will start distributing the cure over Belgium, Switzerland, France, Spain, and Portugal. The aerosol medication is high-strength and long lasting. It can travel through the air for quite a few hundred miles so we don't need to bath the entire continent in the cure.

"Dr. Noah says that the cure, when it gets onto the ground, and plants that they will acquire the cure and start distributing it through their leaves, so when humans breath it in they will be cured. It's high-strength so, just a little will go a long way." He finished.

Then Dr. Noah came onto the intercom. "Hey guys. He's right. And Belgium Switzerland, France, Spain, and Portugal are the countries that we are going to be distributing the cure to today. Once we're back into The Netherlands we'll sanitize the canisters and then we can put the cure back into them, and do it all again tomorrow, but for different countries.

"This plane is curing Europe, a smaller jet is curing the U.K, and Ireland. Then there's another one curing North America, and the Caribbean area. Another is getting Central America, and South America. Then a few more are getting Africa, the Middle East, China, and all the island countries over near the Philippines.

"We're getting the cure distributed as fast as we can, and soon the world will be back to normal. This is Dr. Noah, signing off." Dr. Noah finished.

I sighed at that last part. The world will never be back to normal. I don't think we'll get our families back. Dustin, Connor, and Carol are currently lost in the billions of infected. I don't think that we'll ever see them again. I won't ever see them again. This world will never get back to normal. I don't care that it's the year 2030, there is no such thing as normal. There will never be a normal.

"All right, we are now distributing the cure. Peoples' lives should finally break free of this curse." Dr. Noah called out through the intercom.

"This is wonderful." I exclaimed. Looking out the small window, and facing the rear of the plane I saw an interestingly colored stream rushing out from behind the plane.

"It is." Ted responded.

"How will we know if the cure is working?" I asked.

""We'll take a small prop-engined plane and fly around, and see what's happening." Ted said.

"Okay. Let's hope it's working. It should. We'll find out tomorrow."

--

It was getting late and the plane touched down on the warm runway in The Netherlands. Once it pulled into the hanger, the air-stair descended and we were allowed to exit the plane.

"It's so nice to be back on the ground after a long day of distributing." Ted said.

"Yeah. Let's get some rest, we'll have to go out tomorrow and see. I still saw a lot of blood today staining the ground. It better rain or something. This disease is awful."

"Alright. We'll get some sleep and start out again tomorrow." Ted said.
