[Angela's P.O.V]
I turned on the television, and was astonished to see what was on the news. It was unbelievable.
"Connor, come in here and look at what's on the television." I hollered.
"What's that?" Connor asked, walking into the family room.
"Look." I said, pointing to the TV.
The male news-anchor was standing on the street talking into the microphone, what he was saying was unbelievable. He was in a protective suit as well.
"The disease that was nicknamed Bloody Mary, which originated in Morgansville, North Carolina, has now infected surrounding cities within a five hundred mile radius. It is growing exponentially, and is causing mass panic in North Carolina.............."
"Connor this is getting worse. It's becoming a plague, and we haven't figured out a cure to stop it." I bellowed.
"Angela it's okay, they're working on one." Connor reassured.
"The disease is mutating, Connor. You saw what happened to Carol. It's only a matter of time before it gets us."
"Ang, calm down. She said that we are immune to the disease."
"Yeah, she said that she was immune to it as well, and look what happened."
He was speechless.
"Seems that you can't top that." I scoffed.
"It's just that...................gggggggrrrrrrrrrrrrraaaaaaaaaawwwwwwwwllllllll!!!!!!!!!" He screamed.
He went for his chest, and I started screaming at him.
The syringe, where's the syringe? I panicked.
I saw it on the kitchen table, and pulled the cap off. Then I ran towards Connor, and stuck it in his neck.
Tears stung my eyes, as I saw the pain in his eyes.

7.
His eyes rolled into the back of his head.
10.
He fell to the floor.
I'm next, I thought.
I ran into our bedroom, and grabbed the keys to the car. I pulled Connor up by his shoulders and dragged him out the front door and into the car.
I put him in the passenger's seat, and closed the door. Then I got in the driver's seat and started the car.
Looking at the fuel gauge I noticed that we were getting low. I drove to the nearest fuel station with an unconscious husband in the passenger seat.
I swiped my card, put the nozzle in the tank, pushed the button, and began fueling. I was going as quickly as I could, but the fuel station decided it was going to be slow today. There wasn't anyone at the station besides us, and I don't think there was anyone inside the mini-mart either.
Why did this feel scary? There's daylight, it's early morning, and it just feels downright scary.
The fuel nozzle clicked off, and I put it back in the holder. I closed the fuel tank. Then got back in the driver's seat, and started the car. I noticed at the edge of the parking lot was a person. Female, blonde hair, possibly early twenties. She turned towards our car, and that's when I began to panic.
