[Angela's P.O.V]
I hope my son is okay, I haven't seen him in a while. Connor and I are both worried. We hope he makes it out of this alive. We don't know what has happened to him, we haven't seen Carol, or Ted for that matter.
Connor and I had stayed in a hotel, for the past few days. It was just a few blocks away from the Hospital. We tried to check on him yesterday and the day before that, but the lady at the front desk said that they weren't allowing anyone to visit those infected with the disease.
Here's what I don't understand, why don't Connor and I have the disease? It's weird, we were with Dustin when he got it, so why on Earth don't we have it?
I don't know.
I think we'll go get checked for it again, just in case. I think it would be a good idea.
Connor was still sleeping in the bed, I shook him slightly, and he groaned. "Rise and shine sleepy head." I giggled.
"What time is it?" he groaned.
"Time for you to wake up." I answered.
"Alright." he mumbled.
He got out of bed, stretched, gave me a kiss, gathered his clothes, and went to take a shower.
I put on my shoes and got my purse, and room key, and went to the Dining Area on the main level.
Once I was there, I stood in line, and picked up a tray. As I walked through the line I picked out two bananas, two single-serve Honey Nut Cheerios, a large chocolate chip muffin, and two glasses of orange juice, as well as two pints of two percent milk.
Once I had gathered all the breakfast we'd need, I went back up to the hotel room.
Connor was out of the shower, dressed and waiting for me. He smiled when I showed him the food. We sat down at the small table, and began to eat.
We didn't talk about much. I guess that there wasn't much to talk about.
Once we were done with Breakfast, I took the tray back to the dining area, and then proceeded to go back upstairs. Something caught my eye though.
It was outside the hotel, and I was in awe at what I was seeing. It was unbelievable.
There were at least thirty people walking down the middle of the street at one time, the thing was, they were all bloody, and were yelling at each other.
Dayum! It's the disease. It's spreading.
I ran as quickly as I could to the elevator, it seemed to be going excessively slow, but it finally opened, and I got in frantically. I pushed the close button many times, and I was surprised that it didn't pop out. The elevator made it to my floor, and I rushed to the hotel room.
Quickly, I slid the card in and it flashed green, and I opened the door. "Connor we have a problem, the disease is spreading, and people are angry and bloody and yelling at each other in the streets. We need to do something!" I yelled.
"Honey, calm down. Did you say that the disease was spreading?" Connor responded.
"Yes, it's spreading. Look out the window, down to the street, you'll see what I mean." I said.
Connor looked out the window to the street and he saw what I had seen when I was in the Dining Area. "Dayum." He exclaimed.
"See I told you. Now what are we going to do?" I asked.
"I don't know, what do you think we should do?"
"I don't know. Should we go to the hospital and tell Carol?" I explained.
