[Angela's P.O.V]
I turned over, and groaned. This cot that was set up in the hospital's emergency room was not comfortable at all. My eyes fluttered open, and Connor was staring at me to my left. "Good Morning Connor." I smiled.
"Good Morning." He smiled back.
"How are you?"
"I'm pretty good, much better than I used to be." He responded.
"That's wonderful." I beamed. "Where's Carol?"
"She....is.....in the back room, where they prepared medicines for the surgeries and stuff." He responded, looking around.
"Oh, well. I need to talk to her." I exclaimed, turning, sitting up, and then standing up. Rubbing the sleepers out of my eyes, I walked to the back room where Carol was.
As I walked into the room, I was tackled to the ground by someone. Who the hell was that? I looked into their eyes and it was Dustin. What's happening? I thought they were cured.
It was too good to be true.
"Angela, are you alright?" Connor asked concerned.
"Not really." I responded, staring into Dustin's murder-consumed eyes. "Dustin, are you alright?"
I heard footsteps, and that was when Connor, and Ted, who had probably been awaken, walked in on Dustin on top of me, staring down on me. Dustin saw and then looked up at Connor. "Dustin what the hell are you doing?" Connor hollered.
Dustin's eyes went back to normal and then the realization of what he was actually doing sunk in. Then he rolled off of me, and I sat up. "Sorry mom, I don't know what happened. I'm sorry." He sympathized.
"That's all right. Now let's go talk with Carol." I responded, standing up. I walked farther back into the room which had cabinets of locked medicine and silver tables, to a door that was labeled 'Lockers and Sanitation Prep'
Pushing open the door, I glanced inside before entering. I didn't see anyone yet, but they should be in here. The room had rows of lockers in the center of the room, and to the sides of the room there were sinks that you could just tap with the back of your hand to turn on. Quite interesting considering the fact that I've never been back here.
I walked past the lockers, glancing between the rows to see if Carol, and the man from last night were in here.
I made it to the last row of lockers, in the very back of the room, and that was when I saw Carol. She was sitting on a silver metal bench with her head in her hands. It looked as though she was crying. Then the gentleman came out from around the corner and saw me staring at Carol. He strode over to me before speaking. "Hi Angela. Carol is pretty torn up right now. She apparently had a seriously bad dream, and when she woke up she was sweaty, and clammy, and scared. Then she turned on the radio to the news, and she started crying. I tried to comfort her, but she didn't really want the comfort. I think that you should talk to her."
"Thank you David." I smiled. "I'll talk to her."
I walked over to Carol, and sat down beside her, putting a hand on her back. "Carol, are you alright?'
She shook her head no. "Why? Do you want to talk about it?"
She shook her head again.
"Carol, I want to make you feel better, I don't know what's going on unless you talk to me about it." I smiled, even though she couldn't see because her head was still resting in her hands.
