I ran to the toilets, leaving Calum behind.

I went in, and it was empty.

No surprise though.

It was almost always empty.

I punched the wall, crying my eyes out like the little pussy shit I was.

Leaning against the wall, the tears falling down my face.

Why was I so weak?

I hate it.

I beared the pain in my bloody knuckles, my vision blurred by my tears.

Just then, the toilet door burst open.

"Luke?"

It was Calum.

Why was he here?

"Go away Calum. D-don..d-don't look at me" I sobbed.

I shut my eyes tightly, refusing to move.

Then I was caught by surprise.

Calum hugged me tightly from behind me.

I buried my face in my hands which still hurt, and I cried even more.

Calum let go, and turned me around.

"There there. Don't cry Luke. It'll ruin your beautiful face."

He wiped away the tears with his thumb.

I flushed.

"U-um! I- I mean.. um...shit.. uhh"

Shaking my head at the now flustered and blushing brunette before me, I couldn't help but laugh.

"I-I didn't mean...um..wait..I meant you are beautiful.. wait no..i mean ye-"

I put my hand to my mouth, trying to stop my laughter.

"Holy shit, Luke your knuckles!"

Calum took my hands in his, and examined them.

"Comeon, we gotta go to the nurse' office."

He wanted to pull me out of there, but I didn't budge.

He looked at me, and I shook my head.

"I wanna stay here for a while."

"But you're injured!"

"Nah. I'm fine. It's just a scratch."

"B-but...what about class? A-and.."

"Cal, I'm okay." I chuckled, and smiled warmly at him, and he finally nodded.

We stood there, in an awkward silence.

I smiled at him, and just admired his features, while he was staring at the ground.

"H-hey.. um..Luke... I wanted to ask you..I hope you don't mind me asking but...are you...gay?"
