"Hello?" I asked into the phone.
"Hi! Is Ms. Andrea Collins there?" A familiar voice replied.
"This is she. May I ask who is calling?"
"Oh, of course! This is Justin Huff, the casting director for Newsies!"
"Oh, I am so sorry Mr. Huff!" I'm so stupid! I couldn't even remember the name of the casting director?!
"No worrys, Andrea. I have some exciting news, though! You got the job! We want you to play the role of 'Katherine'!" He exclaimed.
"Really?! No way! Thank you so much!" I answered, trying not to freak out.
"Our pleasure, Andrea! You will be getting an email within the next day or so containing all of the info you need!"
"Thank you so much, Mr. Huff!"
"See you soon, Andrea!"
Oh. My. Gosh. Did that really just happen?! IM GOING TO BE IN NEWSIES ON TOUR OHMYGODHSVSJS!
"EVAN!!" I yelled, running down the hallways towards his room.
"EVAN!!!" I yelled again, banging on the door.
"Arghh what do you want, Andie? I'm trying to sleep." a groggy looking Evan said once he opened the door.
"I GOT THE JOB! IM GOING ON TOUR WITH NEWSIES!!" I jumped up and down.
"OH MY GOSH ANDREA THAT IS AMAZING!" Evan said hugging me. "Wait," Evan paused, "does this mean that you're leaving me?" He said with a sad face.
"Well, yeah, but you can visit me whenever and I will visit you when I can. And we will talk on the phone everyday." I hugged him really tight.
"Okaaayyyyyy. I really am so happy for you, Andie, but I want to sleep now so byyeee." Evan said, pushing me away and closing his bedroom door.
I can't believe this is actually happening.
