I Never Planned On You

Day 22/33- Travel

so so so sorry that i forgot to upload these sooner!! also, sorry these are short!!

6 am

Why am I awake?? Oh yeah, I have a flight in three hours.

I sluggishly drag myself out of bed and don't bother to shower. I brush my teeth and put on a sweatshirt, some leggings, and my Nike sneakers.

Everyone's flights today are sometime before 10am, so we're all riding to the airport together for convenience.

I pack my suitcase and walk downstairs, where most people already are, and go to the Starbucks in the lobby. I order a hot chocolate and a glazed donut before walking over to everyone else, seeing more people had shown up while I was waiting for my order.

"Hello, world." I say, pulling my luggage behind me.

"Hey, sunshine." Meredith says, holding a sleepy Wren.

Once everyone comes down, we head to the bus. I sit down in between Josh and Ben who are talking as I lean my head back against the headrest.

Eventually, we fell asleep with my arms around both of their shoulders. I hear a camera shutter and open my eyes to see Chaz leaning over the back of his seat to take a picture of us.

"Ew, I probably look like a turd muffin." I say.

"No you don't!" Chaz says, showing me the half-decent picture.

"That's not too bad. Send that to me?"

"Sure." He says, turning back around in his seat.

7 am

We arrive at the airport and go through security. Most people's flights were at 8 or so, so almost everybody left then, and then by 8, I decide to go to my gate.

"Bye," I say, hugging Ben before we part ways, "See you in a few days."

"Bye, Andrea." He says, pulling away and leaning down to press a short kiss to my lips.

Josh's gate was right next to mine, so we walked together and sat down.

"You love him. I can tell" Josh says, out of the blue.

"What?"

"You love Ben, don't you?"

"I-uh, I think so. I would never tell him though. It's too soon." I say, blushing.

"Ayee, I knew it." Josh smirks. "Ben is crazy about you. He seriously never shuts up about you."

I smile and look down at my phone to check the time and notice it is significantly later than it was the last time I checked.

A little while later, "JetBlue flight 175 to Washington, DC is now boarding." Is said over the intercom.

I say goodbye to Josh, go over to my gate, and soon I am seated and then I'm in the air.
