I Never Planned On You

3- Rehearsals

Today is the day of my first rehearsal! I'm so excited to start working with all of the wonderful and amazing people in this cast!

I walk into the rehearsal space in sweatpants and a sweatshirt(it is cold. don't judge.)before going to the bathroom and changing into a fitted t-shirt and a full tulle skirt.

"Hello, leading lady!" Joey said once he saw me. "Hey!" I said, giving him a hug. "Are you nervous? Cause I am." Joey said, sounding a little bit scared.
"Uh, I guess so. But you have no reason to be nervous, you're going to be great!"
"Thank you, you are gonna be great too. I'm gonna use the bathroom, so see ya in a minute." He said walking away.

I sat down on one of the chairs, pulled my phone out of my bag, and started scrolling through Instagram. My follower count has skyrocketed since it was announced that I was joining the tour. I was looking at my feed, but I wasn't really paying attention. So when I heard Ben say, "Why didn't you like my picture? I thought we were gonna be friends but I guess not.", I looked over my shoulder to see Ben standing behind me. "What?" I asked. "You didn't like my picture! I saw you scroll right past it with my own eyes!" Ben joked. "Fine, I will go back and like your picture!" I laughed. "Good. Now we can be friends." He said as he sat down in the chair next to me.
"Are you excited?" Ben asked me. "Yeah, I'm super excited, a little nervous, but excited." I said. "I'm excited for you! It's gonna be so cool to have a new Katherine! I mean, no offense to Steph, but you're so awesome!" He rambled on. "Well, thank you. Stephanie's shoes are going to be hard to fill, but I'm gonna try." I said. "I know you're going to be amazing." He smiled.

"Okay everybody, rehearsal is starting now!" The director called out.
"Okay, I guess I should get in place. Break a leg!" Ben said walking away.

[ after rehearsal ]

"You were so good!" Chaz came up to me after rehearsal. "Thank you so much!" I said before getting a drink out of my water bottle. Eventually I had talked to all of the cast and they had all said I did so good. Even though the rehearsal went really good, I felt very tired and told everyone I was just gonna head back to my hotel room.
"Are you sure you don't want to come to dinner with us?" Zachary asked. "Yeah I think I'm just gonna go to sleep." I smiled before I said goodbye to everyone and left.

"Wait up, Andrea!" I heard a voice and turned around. "Oh, hey!" I said once I saw Ben. "Y-You left your bag at rehearsal and so I b-brought it to you." He said panting, holding my bag out to me. "Oh my gosh, I forgot about my bag! Thanks!" He handed me the bag.
"Are you going to dinner with everyone else?" I asked him. "Nah, it's been a long day for me so I'm just gonna head back to the hotel now." He said. "I would say that we should hang out tonight, but I really would rather sleep." I laughed. "Yeah me too," he laughed, "but maybe tomorrow?" "Yeah, sure." I smiled. We walked back to the hotel just talking about random stuff. "Well, this is me." I said when we got to my room. "Okay, I'll see you tomorrow?" "Definitely." I smiled. "Okay so goodnight I guess." he said as I opened the door. "Yeah, night." I shot him one last smile before I closed the door. Honestly, I'm really excited to do something with him tomorrow. Do I have feelings for him? Ugh, I hope not.
