I Never Planned On You

Day 1/12- Family

"Baby, you did amazing!" My mom said to me as I greeted her.

"Aw, thank you, Momma." I said, hugging her.

"You were so good, sweetheart!" My dad said as he joined the hug.

"I thought you were okay." Evan shrugged and I pulled out of the hug to smack him.

"Fine, whatever, you're super talented and amazing." He smiled.

"Thank you, brudder." I kissed him on the cheek. He wiped off my kiss with his sweatshirt sleeve.

"Hey, bitch!" I hear and turn around.

"Teresa!" I squeal, running to hug her. "What are you doing here?!"

"I flew in with your family! But I had to get a cab to the hotel, I didn't want you to know I was here until now!"

"You are the most amazing best friend on the planet!" I said. Teresa is my best friend in the whole entire world. I know I said that Evan is my other half, but I lied, Teresa is my other half.

"Hello, Andie's family!" Ben said, approaching us. My family was at the end of the line for the stagedoor, so that I could talk to them without having to separate from them again.

"Is this Ben?" Teresa whispered in my ear. I nodded. Obviously I told her about Ben. How could I not? She's my best friend!

"Why hello, Ben. I feel like I already know you! I mean, Andrea has told me sooo much about you." She smiled. Shut up, shut up, shut up!

"Um, hi!" Ben said.

"Oh, everybody, this is my friend Ben! Ben, this is my mom, my dad, Evan, and my best friend Teresa!" I pointed to everyone when I said their names.

"It's so nice to finally meet you guys! Andie doesn't stop talking about all of you!" Ben said, hugging everybody.

My mom pulled me aside while Ben was talking to Evan about something.

"Well, isn't he sweet! Are you two dating?" She asked, rather loudly.

"Mom!" I said, trying to get her to quiet down.

"Sorry, but, are you?"

"No, mom! He's just a really good friend." I insist.

"Well, your father and I started out being really good friends, and now look at us! Married with two kids!"

"Mom, Ben and I aren't going to get married!"

"Never say never, honey." She said before walking back towards the group. I follow her back to my family and friends.

"Why don't you join us for dinner, Ben?" My dad suggests as I approach them.

"Well, I guess Josh wouldn't mind not having a roommate for a few hours." Ben smiled, accepting my dad's offer.

"Wonderful!" My mom exclaimed, walking off with Ben to head to the restaurant.

Why did my dad invite him?! It's not that I don't want Ben to be there, but I was planning on talking to Teresa about him tonight. I guess we can talk about him later.

My dad and Teresa started walking so they could meet up with Ben and my mom.

"I missed you, Andie. It's been really weird without you recently." Evan said.

"Awwwwwww I missed you too. It really has been weird not seeing you everyday." I laughed. "How is everything at home? How's school?" I ask. I'm sure that I've missed a lot lately, I mean, It's our senior year and I'm missing out on it, so I want the full scoop.
