I Never Planned On You

Day 11/22- Birthday

me: pretends it's Ben's birthday

if you're a terrible person who is not on their schedule for updates and needs to get on their game and you know it clap your hands!

*claps*

"Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday dear Benji, happy birthday to you!" Everybody sings after the show, when a cake is rolled out backstage.

Ben closes his eyes, blows out the candles, and everybody claps.

"Thanks, you guys!" Ben says, smiling.

Ben told me not to get him anything for his birthday, but I still got him something.

We all went back to the hotel after the show. Everybody else went out to an 18+ club, that I can't go to since I'm not 18 yet.

I walk down to the lobby and see this guy sitting there.

"Hi, I'm Andrew!" He says, approaching me. Wow, he's kinda cute.

"I'm Andrea." I smile.

"Do you want to get coffee or something?" He asks.

"Yeah, sure!" I say.

We walk over to the small coffee shop inside the hotel, order drinks, and sit down.

We talk for a while and he's actually really sweet.

"So, when can I see you again?" Andrew asks.

"Well, I'm actually waiting for my friends to come back from a club, do you want to chill in my room for a little while?" I suggest.

"Oh, that would be cool!" He says.

We take the elevator up to my room, and I slide the key card through the slot.

When we walk in, I realize I had left the TV on Keeping Up With the Kardashians...

"I love this show!" He says as he sits down in front of the TV.

We talk and laugh for a few hours, let out some secrets, and just get to know each other. He's really cool!

Ben's Pov:

I decide to go back to the hotel earlier than everyone else. I also decided to ask Andie to be my girlfriend.

I'm walking down to her room, my heart beating fast.

As I approach Andie's room, I hear laughing. I guess she's watching something funny?

I knock on the door and she opens up a few seconds later.

"Hey!" She says, still laughing a little bit.

"I have something to ask you." I say.

"Who's that?" I hear a guy's voice coming from inside the room. I look in and see a guy sitting on Andrea's bed. Ouch.

"Nevermind, I'll come back later." I say, awkwardly coughing.

"No, seriously, what did you want to tell me?" Andie asks.

"I'll tell you another time." I smile, trying to cover up my disappointment.

"Okay...Well, happy birthday!" She says, leaning into kiss my cheek. Why was I too late to get her first?

Andie's Pov:

"Oh, that was Ben." I smile, answering Andrew's question about who it was.

"He seemed upset." Andrew says.

"You think so?"

"Yeah, when he heard me, I think he sounded different after that. Maybe he was going to make a move." He says. I told Andrew about my whole backstory with Ben, so he knows everything that I know.

"You really think that?"

"I really do. You should go after him!" Andrew says, handing me the gift I got for Ben and pushing me out of the door. Andrew also goes out of the door to leave. Where is Ben? If I were Ben, and upset, where would I go? I remember him saying something about heights relaxing him...

I run up the stairs to the roof and open the big, industrial door.

Ben turns around, sees that it's me, and turns back to look at the city again.

"Hey." I say as I approach him, slightly out of breath. He doesn't say anything in response.

"What's up with you, Ben?" I ask.

"What's up with me?" Ben starts, "Well, I came to your room to ask you to be my girlfriend," Oh my God, "But then I guess there's another guy that you like. And he's obviously interested in you."

"Ben, It-" I say, but he cuts me off.

"It's okay, Andrea. I get it."

"Seriously, it's not li-" Dang boy, stop cutting me off!

"I know that I should've asked you sooner, but I didn't. I guess I just missed my window."

"HE'S GAY!" I say.

"What?" Ben asks.

"He's gay, Andrew is gay." I clarify.

"R-Really?"

"Yes, Ben. I only want to be with you. I thought you knew that." I tell him.

"I only want to be with you, too." Ben says, starting to smile.

I start to shiver from the coldness of December. Ben notices and wraps his arms around me, resting his head on mine. Right now, I can't tell if my heart is beating super fast, or if it has stopped completely. Ben was going to ask me to be his girlfriend earlier.

"Andie, will you be my girlfriend?" Ben asks.

"Yeah, I don't see why not." I shrug, teasing him.

He leans down and kisses my nose.

This is going to be great
