I Never Planned On You

Day 5/16- Just Date!

"I heard that you and Ben were flirting up a storm in their dressing room last night!" Kaitlyn wiggled her eyebrows at me.

"We were not flirting!" Were we? No, we weren't

"Well, from what I heard, it sounded like flirting to me." She smirked. "Plus, it's obvious that you two like each other."

"It's obvious?"

"Totally, you are always staring at each other, and blushing, and other stuff that you do when you have a crush on somebody." She smiled. Is it really that obvious that I like him? Does everyone in the cast know?

"Who do you think knows?"

"Everyone." She says, plainly.

"What?! You think everyone knows that I like him?"

"I don't know for sure, but probably. You guys aren't very subtle." She laughs.

"Ugh," I covered my face with my hands, "This is so embarrassing!"

"Aw, don't be embarrassed, sweetie!" She said, taking my hands away from my face. Then she grabbed her phone and started texting someone.

"Who are you texting?" I ask, peering over her shoulder.

"Just Melissa and Meredith." She smiled.

"What're you guys talking about?" I pressed on. Why was I left out of their group chat?

"Nooothing." She said, turning away from me so that I couldn't see her screen. This is suspicious...

"You're lying to me, Kait."

"Fine! We're talking about you and Ben!" She said, quickly.

"What? Why?"

"Because we were having a little competition about you two. Whichever one of us got you guys to say, out loud, that you like each other won! Ben told Melissa he really liked you a few days ago, and you just told me that you like him, so now we both won and Meredith didn't win anything." Kaitlyn explained. Ben told Melissa that he really likes me. I think I'm going to faint.

"Ben told Melissa that he likes me? What did he say? I mean, not like I care, it's whatever, ju-" I tried to be nonchalant before Kaitlyn cut me off.

"He basically said that he has a massive crush on you, but he doesn't think that you want to date him." She told me. I blushed. He said that? If Kaitlyn says one more thing, I am seriously going to die. "So," Kait starts, "My question is, why does he think you don't want to date him?"

"I don't want my heart to be broken. And, if he breaks my heart, I wouldn't be able to be friends with him. I value our friendship too much to do that." I admit.

"Okay, but what if you don't get your heart broken? What if it works out? Then, won't it be worth the risk?"

Kaitlyn really got me thinking about how it might be worth it to be with Ben, but I still don't know if I could do it. I truly do want to date Ben, I just don't know if I can... But I want to.. Maybe I should. No, I shouldn't...Should I? I need to talk to Mama Meredith. I walk over to her hotel room and knock on the door.

"Hey, Andie, what's up?" Meredith greets me.

"I need your advice on something." I tell her and I could tell she was excited.

"Okay, come in!" She squeals. Mer really loves giving advice, if you couldn't tell. "What do you need advice on?" She asks, trying to be calm.

"Ben." I simply state and her eyes lit up.
