A/N: Here's the next chapter as I promised. Talk to you guys on Friday? :D

Rachel's POV

I sat in the front seat of my Aunt’s jeep with the top down. My hair blew lightly with the wind as my head lay on my hand. The sun had just went to bed leaving a red-orange glow in it’s place that soon filled the sky. After finally being released from the hospital we headed straight to the nearest fast food joint, which just so happened to be In-N-Out burger. All of the restaurants, stores, beach houses, the police station, hospital, the fire station etc. were all within 20 minutes of each other. All of them packed inside this little gated community. It was rather cute, when most people think of Los Angles they think of this big city of lights little do they know there’s a little section of it all gated off...most exclusive of them all. The car was silent as we drove home except for the soft snores escaping Jayden’s mouth as he slept in the backseat. He was out like a light before we even pulled out of the In-N-Out parking lot, bless his heart.

“So—” Aunt Rebecca breaks the silence slightly turning her head to look at me.

“So what?” I say leaning up to look at her. I’m still a rock star I ‘ve got my—

“Harry.” She smiles

“What about him?” I say tucking a piece of hair behind my ear.

“He’s a nice boy.” She says, her smile growing larger.

“Yeah, I guess.” I reply with a shrug

“Very well mannered too.” She says

“And…”

“Nothing, all I said was he was nice and well mannered.” She shrugs

“Okay?” I look over at her trying to read her face. She’s up to something.

“He really seems to like you.” she grins

“He doesn’t even know me” I reply crossing my arms

“He really seems to care about you too.” She says and I don’t respond. “He carried you out of the water, he saved you, you know.” She looks over at me

“Anyone would’ve done it…he was just the first one there.” I reiterate Harry’s words.

“But most people wouldn’t have stayed at the hospital to see if you were okay.” She says

“Where are you going with this?”

“Do you like him?” she asks nochalantally

“I feel like this a loaded question.”

“Well do you?” she pushes

“Sure, he’s a nice kid.” I say

“You guys would make a really cute couple” she says Whoop there it is

“Aunt Rebbeca!” I gasp

“What you guys would.”

“I don’t even like him like that.” I say

“And why not?”

“I just don’t.” I say

“Why don’t you just go out on a date with him? Just one, give the boy a chance.” She says

“I have a strict no dating rule, remember.” I say

“Then how do you expect to find a guy you’ll fall in love with?”

“I don’t believe in falling in love.” I shrug

“Then how do you know if a guy is worth marrying?”

“I wasn’t planning on getting married.” I lay my head back up against the window.

“Why not?” she says

“I don’t believe in marriage either. You spend thousands of dollars to stand up in front of a bunch of people and confess your ‘eternal love’ Did you know that 75% marriages end in divorce. Many within the first year of—”

“Don’t you want children?”

“Of course. And there’s this thing called adoption.”

“Wow, you’ve got it all planned out huh?” she looks over at me surprised as we pull up to the gate.

“Yep, college, job, house, kids etc. and Harry just doesn’t fit in there at all. I don’t need a guy to rely on. To be honest I don’t need anyone to rely on anymore because in the end all they’re going to do is let you down.” I finish

“Well, I’m sorry you feel that way. But I’m always here for you Rachel remember that.” She frowns getting out of the car.

“Aunt Rebbeca I—” I start when the door slams. I jump out following her to get Jayden and I see a few tears escaping from her eyes.

“I didn’t mean it like that. You have always been there for me…sometimes you’re more like a second mother than an aunt.” I start

“Really?” she says

“Really, it’s just I’ve been through heck of a lot lately and I know I can’t say that because you been through a hell of a lot more than me. But a girl my age should not have to deal with all of these problems on top of school problems. I’ve just been finding it really hard to trust lately, but I know I can trust you.” I smile

“Always sweetie, no matter what it is I promise I’ll be there.” She says pulling me into a hug with Jayden in her arms.

A/N: So Rachel doesn't believe in love because she doesn't believe she can trust anyone. Hm...wonder who brought those feelings about. Anyways, if you liked this chapter show some appreciation by commenting, subscribing(if you haven't already) and voting! Love you guys have a great day!
