Chris Brown

"Been a long time! Missed you brotha!" I greeted Tyga at my door.

Tyga been away with his family but his came back to visit. He told us what was happening before, and he getting better. Hopefully in the future there can be a mini party with the new and old friends, that including T as well.

"Damn, when you going to shave that beard? Looking like a old man and shit. I see a few greys in there." Tyga joked, dapping me afterwards.

I chuckled lightly. "Same old you I see."

He laughed then walked in, taking his shoes off and that before he joined the rest in the living room. It's just Trey and Jhene around too, the main ones.

"Wassup?" Tyga greeted them.

Jhene instantly got up and gave him a hug. They weren't major close before but apparently they been doing some talking over the phone, Jhene with her magic soft nice powers. Then Trey got up and dapped him, a lil man hug with it.

"Tinashe still not back home?" Tyga asked lowly.

I guess Tinashe can sometimes still be a sore topic. Even though I'm moving on, my love for her will forever stay there. She was my first love and honestly I thought she was going to be my last.

"Nah, who knows when she coming back either." I informed him.

"She needed time to herself, she can take as long as she needs as long as she's better." Jhene added.

Tinashe didn't want phone calls, texts or visits. She needed to be by herself, and we respect her wishes. I pray she doing good.

"Make sure once she gets back you tell me." Tyga told us, as he grabbed a drink from the side.

I guess I'm not the only one that misses her. The worst thing is, the connection between me and Tinashe as just friends won't be there when she comes back. No matter if we say we going to stay friends, that won't happen. There's too much history and love for us to just be friends. I will forever stay talking to her, it just won't be the same.

"What we about to do tonight? We turning up or nah?" Trey hyped up.

Talking about Tinashe just downed my mood for partying.

"Just us four?" Tyga questioned.

"Chris, could bring his new girl..." Trey hinted.

Trust him to be the one to mention that. I'm not ashamed, I just don't want 'relationship' talk right now.

"New girl?" Tyga asked in surprise.

All three of them was looking at me. She's technically not my girl, we just seeing each other but nothing serious yet. Honestly, I do think something could happen between us, we get along very well and just enjoy each other company. However, I think it's too early to ask her to be mine already.

"I'm seeing someone but we not together." I confirmed.

"Maybe we should just stay in tonight, catch up on stuff, how have you been, Michael?" Jhene changed the topic, coming to my rescue like usual.

Everyone's attention turned to Tyga as he explained how his been feeling and what his been up too. After all that we ordered some food in as we too lazy to cook, then we just chilled. Just a perfect evening.

After the night finished around one in the morning, we done a lot of talking. Jhene went back home, Trey went back too. For Tyga, he don't have a home here anymore so he stayed at mine. I don't have a guest room so I just made up a bed for him on the sofa. It's only for the night, so it should be alright.

"What you about to do tomorrow?" I asked Tyga.

"I'm meeting up with some old friends, then I'm going to head back home. Thanks for letting me stay the night, bro." He replied as he got comfy on the sofa.

"Ain't nothing, just come back sooner next time. Make sure next time you ready to turn up too." I chuckled afterwards.

"Sure, nigga." He chuckled too.

"Aight, I'm going bed, I might see you tomorrow, if not stay safe." I dapped him quick.

"You too."

With that I left then went and got myself ready for bed. Once I was all in bed, I plugged my phone in and saw two messages from Pia.

Want to meet tomorrow? - Pia, 7.54pm.

Hello? - Pia, 11.21pm.

I haven't checked my phone this evening because I been too busy chilling with my friends. I hope she ain't mad, I didn't mean to ignore her.

Sorry, an old friend came thru. You still up for meeting tomorrow? - Chris, 1.18am.

I pressed sent then put my phone back on the side, she probably asleep so there's no point waiting on a reply.

Tinashe.

"How often do you do this?" I asked in amazement as I looked at the beautiful view.

"Once a month, I come here just to reflect on life." Marvin replied softly.

We both sat on top of rocks while looking over the city. It's so beautiful looking over it at night. Marvin keeps to himself, his the shy one in the group but somehow we became friends.

I smiled lightly. "Thanks for bringing me here with you."

"I usual come alone, but you seemed like me. You always by yourself, it's good to have at least one friend in the situation we are in." He explained.

I been too focused on getting better to worry about having friends. My friends are waiting at home.

"Yeah... How long you been in the group for?" I asked him casually.

"Around five months... I think I'm going to leave soon, I think I'm ready to face the world again."

That's a long time. I have been in here for over two months, I haven't really thought about when I'm going to leave yet.

"That's really good!" I boosted his confidence up. "I think I might have another month before I leave here."

"Don't force yourself to leave, you will know when it's the right time too."

After that, we just stayed in comfortable silence as we looked over the view. We sat fairly close to each other, I felt safe, I felt a slight homely feeling.
