The one night alone

The circle around me

The BMW cut off the highway down a dirt path still going really fast. I would have unbuckled and thrown myself out of the car if I wasn't afraid that I'd die in the process. Especially since a real live vampire was sitting there. I realized I hadn't seen my family all day. They were currently M.I.A (missing in action), as much as I could I'm my current situation I worried for them. I kinda wish I could hold my twin brothers again and tell them that even though they bugged me I still loved them. And my dad, my poor dad always watching out for me making sure no harm came. Working extra hours at work to pay for my dance lessons and all my dance competitions. I never actually thanked them. Oh my mom, always working around the house, bringing me what I needed. Coming and picking me up in the middle of the night because the crappy car they bought this year for my 16th birthday broke down. I never thanked her either. Oh and Bella, my best friend, she was always there for me and helping me. I remember this one time... Wait what am I doing? Am I saying my goodbyes? I looked over to the weirdly quiet vampire and thought oh ya, I am going to die I'm stuck in this car on my way to an unknown destination where he and his friends are going to kill me. And I'm never going to be found.
"We aren't going to kill you, then ciencen would rip me to peices if we killed you" the vampire said and looked to me.
"What? How did you...?"
He interrupted my confusional blabbering by laughing
"Ha ha ha, I am a laughlin, I can read minds. You should have known this by now. Didn't ciencen? He should have told you. This doesn't make sense the ciencen should have told his chosen cienceness everything by now...
His confusion set me into a confusional state. What was a ciencen? Or who? Laughlin? Cienceness? Was I the cienceness? Is that good or bad? Was I still going to die? Did I know this ciencen person. My head just whirling with questions.
"All of your questions will be answered soon enough. I promise."
Just like that the conversation ended and I kept very cautious of what I thought.

About 3 minutes later, around 11:45 he pulled into a circle of other cars, some expensive, some nice and some shitty. The vampire got out of the car walked around and opened my door for me.
"Where are we I asked?"
"Hop on my back" he ignored my question and turned around.
"No, where are we?" I asked slightly afraid.
"I told you no more questions, now get on!" He said slightly hissing. I hopped on his back piggyback style and he started running at lightning speed til he stopped and threw me onto the ground. Somehow the dress and my hair weren't ruined. But there was a slight pain in my hip. I looked around. There were a circle of people surrounding me, some of them had their fangs already out, some quietly standing staring deeply at me.
"Just kill me now! Get it over with! I started crying and screaming. They had me encircled, there was no way I could get away, they'd catch up to me if I tried to run. I couldn't kill them either, how do you even kill a vampire?
One of the vampires, a women about 35 looking with long brown hair quietly approached me. Bending down she met my eyes and reached her hand out.
"You can trust me, do you need help up?" My body all of a sudden went calm, I felt like I could trust her. I grabbed her hand and let her pull me up to a standing point.
She then turned and went back to the circle. The vampires about 40 or so just still stood there, Watching me. I didn't know what to do, I know I should feel fear but I was completely calm. I trusted that women, I don't know why but I trusted she wouldn't hurt me.

Ten minutes went by... One of the vampires growing impatient yelled.
"Its almost 12! Where is he?? Im hungry! There won't be enough time for this ceremony! I am HUNGRY!!!!! He said practically screaming at me suddenly the part of the circle to my left parted and bowed. The entire circle slowly rippled into a bow until they were all bowing. I turned to see what they were bowing at.
"Patience James, my son has just arrived. The ceremony is starting." The man the vampires were bowing at and had just spoken then turned to me. "Oh aren't you just beautiful! Like the purest of snow! My son wasn't kidding when he said you are the prettiest thing on the earth. Oh Isabelle! Come look at her!" He turned and reached his hand out to one of the most beautiful women I have ever seen. She looked like a model and her dress was just as exquisite as mine. She wore the same necklace around her neck. She graciously accapeted his hand and gracefully stood next to him. She smiled a perfect smile. Everything about her captivating.
"She is lovely dear." Her hand still holding his. They looked like the perfect couple.
"Trian? Did you calm her? She seems awfully calm, especially for the day she's had."
The women who had helped me off the ground stepped forward
"I calmed her, Biencen, Bienceness, if it was wrong of me I apologize. You have my deepest regret." She bowed her head and backed back into the circle.
"Celia, thank you. You are fine to do it, it makes this easier." The perfect women named Isabelle said. She then turned to me.
"Katie are you ready? My son is waiting."
I looked at her confused. Should I know what she was talking about? Was she a vampire too? What was happening?
"Beincen, if I may." The vampire that kidnapped me stepped forward. The man of the perfect couple nodded. Apparently he was the beincen.
"Your son has not explained to her, when I went to fetch her from the hospital she had no idea I was coming or what I was. She knows nothing of where she is, what is happening, or of our ranks."
The beicen looked at his lover, most likely the beiceness and frowned. "What is he thinking? There is one minute before the blue moon and she knows nothing! What has he been doing all this time." He beckoned me towards him and started walking out of the circle, the bienceness followed him and I followed her. Everyone else in the circle fell behind me.
We approached a campfire with a man whose back was facing towards us.
"Son. You did not tell the cienceness anything. How are we supposed to follow through once the magic is off? What were you thinking?! There isn't another blue moon for months! By then she will be 17 and unworthy! You failed us!."
The bienceness grabbed her husbands shoulder and comforted him.
"Calm down please David, our son will explain. I'm sure he had reason, right Jaxon?"
I looked up suddenly, Jaxon? Like my Jaxon? Like the boy I wished everyday would ask me out Jaxon? The boy turned around and met my eyes. I about fainted.
It was Jaxon.
