The one night alone

The wedding

I woke up in an empty bed. Jaxon must have left earlier. I rolled over and looked at my alarm clock. 1:48. Great I have less than four hours to get the final details in place for the wedding. Why did nobody wake me up??

I ran and jumped in the shower. Washing everything super good. I needed to be super clean. When I jumped out I threw on some sweats and started packing up all my stuff. I ran out of my room to wake the girls up and I found them throwing the last of their luggage on to a cart.

"Before you yell at us. We wanted to let you get your beauty sleep. Everything's packed and we are leaving right Now. We will be back within 30 minutes of the wedding if we speed." Bella said taking my luggage and throwing it on the cart.

"Bu-" I tried to explain how that wasn't enough time but I was cut off. "No. No talking get in the car." Maddie said walking out the door pulling the cart. "The more we talk more time wasted! So run!" She said out in the hallway. I ran ahead and opened the elevator. We all sprinted to the car and loaded it quickly. Bella pulled my make up bag out at the last second and threw it in the back.

Maddie hopped in the drivers seat. My bridesmaid Izzy in the passenger. Then me and Bella in the back. We drove off and Maddie listed off orders. "So Jaxons sister... What's her name?"
"Sophie." "Right so she is prepping the rest of the wedding with the wedding planner. She had planned on coming to Vegas with us but couldn't. She says the reception and wedding locations are almost completely finished. So Bella start doing Katie's makeup the best you can. We are on the freeway so there shouldn't be too many bumps. Izzy you start on yours as well. Try to get what you can get done, done."

Without protest we started. Its going to be a miracle if we can make it back on time.

Somehow by a strange miracle we sped enough to make it home in three hours. And we even switched drivers so Maddie could do her makeup. All makeup was done all that is left is hair. We ran straight into the chapel and to our respected areas and worked quickly. Fortunately I had asked all the bridesmaids to do a simple bun so they joined and assisted me rather quickly.

With ten minuted to spare I was finished and in my gown. I turned and looked in the mirror and almost cried. I looked like a princess. The girls all wrapped their arms around me. "Don't worry it'll be perfect." "You look amazing!" "Jaxon going to die!" Everyone soothed me. They put a viel in my hair and we left to get in position.

The groomsmen all had matching navy blue ties that matched the girls dresses. They all awaited in front of the giant oak doors. I his slightly around the corner so I wouldn't be seen.

The doors opened and the bridesmaids and groomsmen entered. The song jaxon and I had chosen was playing. I listened and smiled it was one of our favorite classics. Cannon in D.

Finally it was my turn to enter. Not having a father walk me down the isle and I didn't feel like having a replacement. I walked down by myself but as soon as I emerged I about cried it was so beautiful. Magnificent glass chandeliers hung. Navy blue and white drapes hung from the walls. Rows of chairs and crystals sat with people crying and gasping in them. Some I recognized I slowlybwalked grinning taking it all and smiling at the guests I knew. Then I looked for ward and saw him. Tears running down his face. He looked like a god I let tears of joy slip. He reached his hand and I took it. Jacob our ring bearer stood next to Aly holding hands. Aly was our flower girl.

The ceremony began and I looked around at our guests. A man I didn't recognize was in the corner. Who's that? Jaxon mind messaged me glancing at the same man I did. I gave him a look of I thought u invited him. Pure dread crossed his face. But as quick as it came it left as he smiled at the preacher and said I do. Oh crap they are doing vows.
"To be your lawfully wedded husband to love and to hold in sickness and in health?" "I do." Its done he's mine forever. I grinned jaxon lifted the Viel and kissed me long and hard.

"Your mine. All mine." He smiled and kissed me again. We linked hands and started running down the aisle but were stopped in the end. People screamed as a minute bomb went off in the front of the room. Blood spattered everywhere. I looked nobody at the front had survived. Bella, maddie, Sophie, aly, Jacobs mother, the groomsmen, the bridesmaids, the preacher. Everyone. Just. Gone. I collapsed to the ground. Blood stained my dress and many of the guests. Most in the front of the room were injured. Someone on the phone with 911 was heard in the background.

A gunshot when off behind me. I turned and clung to jaxon as the mysterious man walked slowly towards me. Gun in hand. "You don't know me but I know you. You held a party that resulted in my brothers death. You rode in a cop car that killed one of my best friends and his coworker. Then you attacked my fiance in the hospital and killed her when she was trying to help you. I lost EVERYTHING! YOU TOOK AWAY EVERYTHING I LOVE!" He screamed in agony. My mouth dropped open. He aimed the gun at jaxon head. "You will pay. An eternity in fact. Since you and ur beloved and half the audience are VAMPIRE'S!"

People gasped around me. Fear crept into peoples eyes. "I can prove it!" He shouted. He shot Jaxon in the arm. He screamed. But the wounds healed quickly. And people started to scream And run.

Cops burst in. The gunman fired all his rounds and was shot by an officer. Jaxon fell to the ground. People around me started to die. The ambulance and EMTs started gathering people. I rode with jaxon all the way to the hospital. Never letting go.
