The christmas spirit

"Hark the herold angels s-ing, glory to the new born king!!" I covered my head with my pillow and rolled over.
"Oh come on Katie... You always do this."
"Unless its Christmas or Christmas Eve, I don't want to hear it."
"But its Christmas eve's eve's. So its basically Christmas eve." I gave him a look.
"Fine, no Christmas music." He clicked a button on his remote and the blaring music shut off. He jumped up and landed on the bed next to me.
"Jacob is at Aly's if you want to sleep a little more." I rolled over and rested my head on his chest. His hand rested on my back.
"Why are all the children human?"
"Hmm?"
"Well I've been wondering, every vampire couple that had a child. The children were all human."
"We are dead Katie, we can't have children. They adopt. But only when they can control their hunger and have asked my father."
"So you're adopted?" I looked up at his face. He stared at the ceiling.
"No, the bienen and biceness are not technically dead so they can have children. The children turn into vampires when we reach a certain age though."
"How old were you?"
"15."
"Oh, so last year..." He looked down at me and half smiled in amusement.
"You really think I'm 16?" I pulled away a little.
"Your in my grade so ya."
He chuckled, pulled me back on his chest and kissed my head. The looked back at the ceiling.
"Jaxon?"
"Hmm?"
"How old are you?"
"20."
"Oh." I listened to his heartbeat and we sat in silence.
"What happens to the kids of the vampires?"
"When they reach the appropriate age, we turn them into one of us."
"Do they have a choice?"
"Sometimes."
"What do you mean?"
"Well the kids of the Laughlin get a choice. They can have their mind erased or they can change. Sometimes a Laughlin will erase another Childs memory if they want to remain human. But only if the child agrees, the parents agree, the Biencen agrees and a laughlin."
"Did you have a choice?"
"No" pain stung in his voice. I curled more into his chest. His arms wrapped around me.
"I'm sorry."
"Shh, go back to sleep Katie."
"Will you stay here?"
"I won't ever leave you." I looked up at him. Our eyes met.
"I love you."
In response he kissed me. I was almost asleep when his hand ran through my hair. He kissed my head.
"I love you too." I was asleep on the next second.

Three hours later I woke up. Jaxon was still asleep. I heard a heartbeat approaching me bed. I barely shook Jaxon and he woke up instantly.
Someone's in the room, pretend to sleep.
He pretended to sleep and I tried to read the person in the rooms mind. Bacon did the same.
Don't wake them, tip toe, tip toe. 1,2,3 jump. I flipped of Jaxon and pulled him out of the way and caught my brother in the air. If I were alive my heart would be beating out of my chest.
"Jacob!"
"Did I scare you? Am I scary? Rawr!"
Jaxon started laughing.
"You scared me, but you know what? I found the tickle monster."
Jacob ran screaming out of the room.
"Calm down, your ok." He held my face and kissed me. I melted into his body and tried to relax. He held me for a second then ran out of the room and followed my still screaming brother around the house, til his screams turned to giggles. Letting Jaxon play with Jacob. I went and got in the shower. When I got out I dried and brushed my hair and started on my makeup. My bathroom door opened and Jaxon walked in.
"Nice view." I looked at him and wrapped the towl tighter around me.
"Get out." He made a puppy face.
"Please?"
"No."
He frowned and walked back into my room. I heard my mattress creak as he later down and grumbled to himself. I laughed and quickly got dressed.
I looked at the clock in my massive closet. 4:30.
"Its four thirty! I missed the entire day."
He walked in with his hand over his eyes. He opened a finger and peered at me. When he saw my clothed body he pulled his hands off his face and wrapped them around me.
"Ya you slept all day, and you were cute doing it. I think I braided your hair 12 different ways." My stomach grumbled under his hands.
"On it." He ran out of the room and started making dinner. I followed him "Your favorite, orange chicken." I kissed him and set the table. Once the table was set I called Jacob down and set the table. We started to eat when someone knocked on the door.
"I'll get it!" Jacob popped up and ran towards the door.
"Who did you invite?"
"Me? I didn't invite anyone, I thought you had." Jaxon jumped up and caught Jacob opening the door. I turned invisible and ran and grabbed Jacob out of Jaxons arms and turned him invisible as well.
"Hello." Jaxon reached back and I grabbed his hand.
"Hello sir, is this the home of Jaxon Carter?"
"I am he." I heard a click.
"You are under arrest for assisting Katie Danet, and the homicide of Skylar fillis." Jaxons face went through with pure shock the police turned him around. He let go of my hand and let the police cuff him.
Go to my father he can deal with this, just get out.
I was about to protest when the officer pulled out a price of paper.
"I also have a warrent to search the property for any evidence for the case, and the search for Katie Danet." Four more officer came in and to started upstairs. Jaxons eyes shimmered in fear. I ran out the door and ran for an hour. I was running out of breath when I finally arrived at his parents. I ran up to the door and started to knock. The door opened and the Bienceness looked at me with wonder.
"Jaxon.. Hufff huff huff was arrested."
