Chapter 59

"There's my baby!" Ginny pulls James into a hug and I laugh at them. I watch as George and Angelina hug Fred. Everyone has their parents with them, congratulating them. Me? I have no one. Draco and Astoria are here, but they are not my parents.
"I'm so proud of you." Angelina hugs me.
George pulls me away from Angelina and hugs me tightly. "My baby! You're going up too fast!" He squeezes me harder, "my baby girl!"
"George!" I whine and try to push him away. "You're squishing me!"
"But I want to hold my baby!" George cries. "And my baby's babies!"
"George." I groan and pull away.
He smiles at me, "I'm proud of you Sapphire." I smile back. He kisses my forehead and ruffles my hair.
"Sapphire." Draco and Astoria walks over with Scorpius.
"Hi." I look at them carefully.
Draco smiles a little at me, it doesn't look forced. It's a bit odd though. I can't remember the last time I've seen him actually smile. "Congratulations on graduating. I'm proud of you."
I decide not to make a snappy remark. I just smile at him, "thanks."
"You're all grown up now," Astoria says. "I suppose we can't stop you from doing what you want."
"No you can't." I say to her.
She studies my face carefully. "Just don't forget we are your parents and we are here for you."
"I'll keep that in mind." I cross my arms over my chest. "Just don't forget how you both treated me my whole life."
Draco frowns, but Astoria stops him from saying anything else. "I guess we'll be going now." She looks at Angelina and George. "Thank you for being there for her when we weren't."
"Of course." Angelina nods. Draco and Astoria walks away, Scorpius stays behind.
I look at Scorpius. "Look I'm-"
He cuts me off. "Don't apologize. I overreacted."
"You were right though..." I sigh, "I never think before I do anything."
He shrugs, "it's just the way you are. I should know, I'm your brother." I smile a little. "You better owl me every week and let me visit my niece and nephew."
I chuckle, "of course."
He smiles at me, "I'll see you later then." He walks away in the direction Draco and Astoria went.
I sigh in relief. "Thank Merlin that's over."
James puts his arm around my shoulders. "I'm glad you two made up."
"Me too." I smile at him.
"Guys, we're leaving tomorrow." Fred says sadly.
"And leave it Fred to ruin the moment." I tease.
Fred rolls his eyes. "Shut it."
Val laughs and kisses his cheek. "She isn't wrong Freds, but it's okay."
Ginny smiles at all of us. "I can't believe you all finished Hogwarts. I remember when I graduated."
"I don't." Harry and Ron say at the same time.
Hermione rolls her eyes, "that's because you two didn't finish school after the war."
"Didn't have to," Harry says with a cheeky smirk. "I'm the chosen one."
Ginny rolls her eyes, "okay chosen one. Why don't you shut it before I do it for you."
Harry chuckles, "by the way. James, I liked your little speech. 'I may not have defeated the Darkest Wizard and save the Wizarding world, but I did win the pretty girl.'"
"Well, Sapphire is much scarier than you know who." Albus teases, "have you seen her in the mornings?" I playfully push Albus.
"No, but I'm looking forward to seeing her every morning." James smiles his charming little smile and kisses my cheek.
I laugh and shake my head. "Merlin. I think I liked it better when you insulted me."
"Okay my little munchkin." James smirks.
I glare at him, "Potter I swear."
"Swearing is bad." James exclaims, "mummy tell the munchkin that swearing is bad!"
"It's okay to give him a little smack on the back of the head." Ginny winks at me.
"Hey!" James exclaims.
George laughs, "come on you lot. They're giving out cake."
Fred looks at me and smirks. "Race you."
"One, two, three. GO!" I yell and take off in the direction cake is being served.
"Cheater!" Fred yells and runs after me.
I laugh and run up to Neville, who is helping with the cake. "Hello Professor Longbottom." I smile at him.
"Hello Sapphire," he smiles back and hands me a slice of cake. He places a strawberry shaped as a rose on my cake. "Because I know you like strawberries."
"Thank you." I grin.
Fred runs over, "you're a bloody cheater." He pushes me playfully.
"Oi! You almost made me drop my cake!" I take some icing from my cake and wipe it on his cheek.
"Hey!" Fred exclaims and smashes his cake in my face.
"You are so dead!" I smash my cake in his face and smirk. "Pay back."
Fred grabs a handful of cake and tries to throw it at my face, but I duck and it misses me. The cake hits Val in the chest. Fred's eyes widen, "Val. I'm sorry."
Val wipes the cake off of her. "No you're not." She picks up a pie and throws it at Fred. Fred quickly ducks and the pie hits Andrew. Val laughs at her, "my bad Andy!"
Andrew grabs a pie and throws it at Val. It hits her square in the face. "Now we're even!" He laughs.
A food fight breaks out and everyone throws desserts at each other. I pick up a chocolate pie with lots of cream on top. I walk over to James and smile at him. "This pie is one of my favorites. Here, try some." I smash the pie in James face and smear it around. "Tastes good doesn't it?"
James wipes the pie out of his eyes, "it does taste good. Have some." He grabs me and kisses me, he rubs his face against mine wiping cream all over my face.
I laugh and push him away. "James!" I feel something hit the back of my head. I turn around and see George laughing. "George!" I grab a tart filled with pudding and throw it at him. He quickly ducks and the tart pudding hits McGonagall right in the face. My eyes widen and everyone stops throwing things.
McGonagall picks up a small cake and effortlessly throws it at me. It hits my chest and she says with no emotion, "I've always wanted to do that."
We look at each other, then burst into laughter. Merlin. Headmistress McGonagall threw cake at me. Everyone starts laughing. I wipe my face and chest off and turn to James. "McGonagall just threw cake at me."
James chuckles, "I saw." He wipes his face and suddenly starts smirking.
I step back, "why are you smirking like that?"
James looks at he and run off. He runs over to Val and throws her over his shoulder. "James!" She lets out a scream. "What the hell are you doing?"
Suddenly, I am picked up. It's Fred. "Fred!" I exclaim. Fred runs towards the lake and my eyes widen when I see James throw Val into the lake. "Fred Weasley don't you dare!"
Fred just laughs and tosses me into the lake. I let out a scream as the water swallows me. I resurface and glare at James and Fred who were laughing their butts off. "You two are so dead!" Val yells angrily. They have released the Valerie.
Andrew and Roxanne walk up behind Fred and James. They smirk and push Fred and James into the lake. "Andrew! Roxanne!" Fred exclaims.
Rox laughs and smirks at him. "Yes Freddie?"
I get out of the lake and glare at Fred. "You just threw a pregnant girl into a lake."
"Sapphire!" Angelina starts fussing over me, "are you okay? Fred Weasley!"
I laugh as Fred's eyes widen in fear. "I'm fine." Fred, James and Val walks over.
Fred hugs me tightly, "I'm sorry Love!" He kisses my head, "will you ever forgive me?!"
I sigh and look at Val. "Get your boyfriend off of me." She just laughs and shakes her head. "Fred," I whine.
He smiled at me. "Yes Gem?"
"Get off me," I push him away.
He pouts, "you are so mean."
I smile sweetly, "only because I love you."
"So does that mean you love me?" James questions, "since you're always so mean to me?" I roll my eyes and walk off. "I'm taking that as a Yes!" James yells out.
"What ever floats your boat!" I laugh and shake my head.

I shut my trunk and sigh heavily. "I'm going to miss it here."
Val stuffs her clothes into her trunk. "I'm going to miss sharing a dorm with you."
"You have to tell me how boring with place is next term." I smile at her.
She groans, "oh it'll be horrible without Princess Sapphire running around the castle."
I laugh, "come on. The boys are probably waiting for us." We drag our trunks down stairs and leave them in the common room with everyone else's. Someone will be coming by to pick them up and put them on the train.
We go to the Great Hall for one final meal. We sit at the Gryffindor table, as usual. "I'm going to miss eating here." I groan as I eat some blueberry muffins.
Fred laughs, "out of all things."
I roll my eyes, "of course I'm going to miss other things. But right now, I am more focused on the food."
"As always." Albus teases.
"Shut it you." I grab some bacon and eat that.
"Yeah Al." James laughs, "she's eating for three."
"And one of us doesn't like pumpkin juice so I can't have any." I pout sadly.
"You don't even like pumpkin juice that much anyway," Fred points out.
I shrug, "I don't remember how it tastes like anymore."
"It tastes like pumpkin," Andrew tells me.
I give him a look, "thank you Andrew. I would have never figured that out by myself."
He smiles at me, "I'm here for you Babe."
It's time to go to Hogsmeade and board the train. Fred, Val, James, Roxanne, Andrew and I all squeeze into one compartment. I felt trapped, so I sit down on the floor and lean against the wall. James looks at me, "why are you on the floor?"
"I like the floor." I tell him.
"Isn't it uncomfortable?" He questions.
I shake my head, "not really."
James stands up, "scoot forward."
I pout, "but I'm leaning against the wall."
"Sapphire." I sigh and move forward. James goes behind me and sits down. His legs are on either side of me. "See. That's better."
I roll my eyes, "if you say so."
Fred looks at me and laughs, "you whine too much."
"I know right!" James exclaims. "When I wanted to cuddle, Sapph starts whining. If I want to snog, she whines! She's never satisfied."
Andrew laughs, "you'll be able to satisfy her once she gives birth."
I give him a look, "Andrew."
He mimics my facial expression. "Sapphire."
James rubs my stomach, "can't wait!"
I elbow James in the stomach, "shut up James." He laughs and kisses my cheek.
"Did you two really hate each other for six and a half years?" Andrew questions.
I nod, "yes. Yes we have. Hated his guts."
"But now you looooove me." James sings and laughs.
I roll my eyes and chuckle. "What ever you say."
