It's been a few days. Val and Fred are stronger now since the other day. All James and Kaitlin do is snog and act all lovey dovey. It's so bloody annoying. I've gotten a little closer to Andrew. He's really nice, funny and fun to be around. I'm with Scorpius right now at the Lake. I rest my head on his shoulder, "Scorp."
"Hm?" He mumbles.
"I'm tired." I whine.
"Go to your dorm then." Scorpius says.
"But I don't want to." I sigh. "I got another letter from your parents."
"What did they say this time?" Scorpius asks. Astoria has been sending me owls about my babies. They are still trying to get me to come back. I don't see why they keep trying. It's not going to make a difference. I don't want then in my life anymore. I've made that clear.
"The same. They're still trying to make me come back." I say.
Scorpius shifts, "are you?"
"I told you already, Scorp. I'm not coming back. I'll find my own place to live and raise my babies. You can visit whenever you like and stay whenever you want." I look at him, "I don't want to move back with them."
Scorpius sighs, "I understand why you don't want to. I really do. It just won't be the same without you."
"Don't worry, Scorp. Just because I've pushed mother and father out of my life doesn't mean I'm going to push you."
"I know." Scorpius is silent for a while. "It's lunch time now. You hungry?"
I nod, "so hungry."
He laughs and stands up. "Come on. You have two other people to feed." He holds out his hand. I grab it and he pulls me up. "Fatty."
"Oi." I flick his ear. "I'm not fat. I'm just pregnant."
"And a Slut." I turn to see Tom.
"What did you call her?" Scorpius growls.
I grab his arm. "Come on, Scorp. Don't."
Tom laughs, "you're just like your pathetic sister, Scorpius. You let other people tell you what to do. You can't do things for yourself."
"Don't talk about my sister like that." Scorpius growls.
"What are you going to do?" Tom smirks. "Sapphire won't let you hurt me. She still love me."
"No I don't." I glare at him. "You're a complete ass."
"Don't you dare talk to me like that." He slaps me across the face.
"Sapphire!" Scorpius exclaims. He turns to Tom and punches him in the face.
"Scorpius! Stop!" I exclaim as Scorpius and tom begin to fight. "Stop it!" I try to get between them, but Tom elbows my stomach and shoves me onto the ground. I gasp in pain.
"Oi!" Andrew comes running and pulls Tom off of Scorpius. He punches Tom so hard in the face.
"Stop it!" I gasp out.
"What is going on here?" I hear Hagrid's loud voice. "Sapphire. Yer okay?" He helps me up. I shake my head. Hagrid turns to Scorpius, Andrew and Tom. "The three of you, come with me to the hospital wing to get clean up. Come, Sapphire." Hagrid helps me to the Hospital Wing. Oh my god, I feel like throwing up.
"Hagrid." I mumble. "I need to throw up."
"Alright." Hagrid picks me up and carries me to the Hospital week. Once we get there, I quickly go to the bathroom and throw up into the toilet. Bloody hell. I flush the toilet and wash up. I slash cool water on my face. I am going to kill Tom. I walk out of the bathroom to see Pomfry tending Scorpius. I pull my wand out and stomp over to Tom. "You bloody prat!" I point my wand at him.
"Sapphire no!" Andrew runs up to me and pulls me back. Tom smirks at me.
"Let go, Andrew." I struggle to break free.
"Sapphire." Andres tries to calm me down. "Come on, Phire. Calm down."
"Andrew, let go." I growl.
"Miss Malfoy. Please sit down." Pomfrey says. "You have to calm down."
"No!" I try to push Andrew away but he won't let go. "Tom has ruined my life far enough!"
Tom smirks at me, "that's not what you said on Christmas day."
"Let go of me, Andrew!" I scream in frustration.
"Phire, come on." Andrew pulls me closer. "You need to stop before you hurt yourself even more."
"Stop!" I scream. "Don't tell me what to do! Let me go!" I blast Andrew away with a spell. I point my wand at Tom. He seems a little scared. He should be.
"Sapphire!" I hear Fred's voice. "Stop it. He's not worth it."
I see Fred walk into the wing. I look back at Tom. "You're a heartless asshole."
"I've been told." He laughs.
Fred grabs me and pulls me away from Tom. "Come on, you need to lay down." He sits me down on a bed next to Scorpius.
I sigh and touch my stomach. "My stomach hurts."
Pomfrey walks up to me, "I need to examine your stomach, Sapphire. Mr. Grimes told me you got hit there. Drink this and lay down." I take the potion from her and drink it. I suddenly feel all drowsy. I lay down and close my eyes.Pomfrey told me that my babies are fine. Thank Merlin for that. Tom got suspended for two months. Only two months. At least after graduation I won't have to see him again. Fred and Val are at Hogsmeade on a date. Scorpius is with Rose and Albus. Lily is off with Hugo. Kaitlin and Julisa are on a double date with James and Justin. Couples. So many couples.
Anyways, I'm with Hagrid helping his feed hippogriffs. I love hippogriffs. They are so beautiful.
"Sapphire, come look." Hargid calls out quietly.
I walk over to see a hippogriff egg hatching. I smile widely as we watch a small baby hippogriff crawls out of the shells. "It's a boy." I smile. The baby hippogriff slowly stand up and walks up to his mum.
"What shall we name 'im?" Hagrid asks me.
I smile at Hargid, "Edmund. Ed for short."
Hagrid claps his hands together. "Edmund it is!"
I see Andrew walk over. "Hey Phire."
"Hey." I smile at him.
"Thought you'd be at Hogsmeade." Andrew says.
I shrug, "I wanted to help Hagrid feed the animals."
Andrew looks at a hippogriff. Her name is Misty. "They are beautiful." He bows. Misty bows back. Andrew smiles and walks up to her. He pets her beak.
"Yer a natural, Andrew." Hagrid beams.
"I love animals." Andrew smiles. I walk up to Misty and feed her a dead bird. She happily eats it. "According to muggles, the first recorded mention of a hippogriff was made by the Latin poet named Virgil in his Eclogues."
"How are you not a Ravenclaw?" I ask with a smirk.
Andrew rolls his eyes and smiles at me. "I guess my father's blood line influenced the sorting. But I have made some bad choices."
I look at him. "Your choices doesn't define who you are unless you let them."
"Words to live by." Andrew laughs. "You're right though."
I hear Hagrid's voice. "Sapphire! Can you two feed them flobberworms?"
"Sure." Andrew strokes Misty's beak then walks over to Hagrid.
I toss the last ferret to the Edmund and his mum. I walk over to Andrew and grab a handful of vegetables. I go up to a flobberworm and feed it.
"I'll be back." Hagrid announces and walks over to the Hippigriffs.
"So, what about you?" Andrew asks.
"What about me?" I question.
"You're a Slytherin. But I think you should have been a Gryffindor." Andrew says.
"The sorting hat had a hard time choosing between Slytherin and Gryffindor." I explain. "My whole bloodline is from Slytherin. At least almost all of it."
"Just because your family is a certain thing doesn't mean you have to be the same." Andrew says. "It's good to be different."
I laugh, "yeah. But I know why I'm in Slytherin."
"And why is that?" Andrew asks.
"I'm not a nice girl." I say.
"When you choose not to be." Andrew smiles. "You're quite nice for a Slytherin."
I laugh, "you don't hear that everyday."
"It's true. If you weren't nice, then I wouldn't have joined Scorpius when he was fighting Tom." Andrew says.
"You didn't have to." I say back.
"I know. I wanted to. You mean a lot to some people. It would kill them if something happened to you of to your babies." Andrew says.
I scoff, "don't feel bad for me just because I'm pregnant. I hate it when people give me some sort of special treatment just because I'm pregnant. I'm still the same old Sapphire. I just have two people growing inside of me."
Andrew laughs, "sorry. I didn't mean to make it seem that way."
"It's okay." I smile at him. "You're pretty cool for a Slytherin."
After hours of helping Hagrid with his animals and hours of talking to Andrew, Andrew says "We should go back to the castle. It's almost time for dinner."
I nod, "okay. I need a shower."
"Yes you do, you smell bad." Andrew smirks at me.
"Shut up. So do you." I laugh and punch his arm. "See you later, Hagrid."
"Bye Sapphire, Andrew." Hagrid waves.
Andrew and I make our way to the castle. "We should hang out more." Andrew says. "That was fun."
I nod in agreement, "yeah we should." We go to the Slytherin common room. "See you at dinner." I run upstairs and take a shower. Once I finish, I put on my clothes and use magic to dry my hair. I go down to the Great Hall and sit with Val and Andrew. "Hey."
Val smiles at me, "hey."
"How was Hogsmeade?" I ask.
"Good." She grins, "I bought you guys some sweets from Honeydukes."
"I love you." I hug her.
She laughs, "I know. What were you two up to all day?"
Andrew takes a bite out of his food, "we were helping Hagrid with his animals."
"Sounds fun." Val smiles.
