Chapter 14

~Valerie's pov~

"Tell me why you agreed to go on a date with my brother." Rox asks.

"Why not?" I said as I look for my shoes. "He's nice." > polyvore.com/valerie/set?id=85990079#fans <

"Have you met him?" Rox jumps onto my bed. I let Rox, Julisa, and Kaitlin into the Slytherin dormitories. They always come here, so its not really a big deal. 

"Yes, I have."

"Rox, just let her have a good time with Fred." Julisa rolls her eyes.

"I'm just saying," says Rox. "You can do better than Fred."

I give her a look, "What ever. He's nice and fun."

"Ooooo does someone have a crush?" Kaitlin smirks.

"No!" I said. "I mean, I don't know..." Do I? I mean, I've known Fred since my first year and his second year. We weren't that close until like last year. Usually when we hang out is with the Gremlins when we plan on a prank, but usually he talks to Sapphire. Everyone knows they are best friends. 

"We'll see, after the date." Julisa winks. "You should go now, by the way."

I nod, "Okay. Leggo." We walk out of the dorm and out of the common room.

"Don't get too close, now." Kaitlin teases.

I glare at her, "Shut up."

"Oh Freddie! I love you sooooo much!" Says Julisa as she makes kissy faces.

"Quit it," i laugh.

"But Valerie, Fweddie wuvs you!" Rox pouts.

"You guys are prats." I playfully push Rox. We reach the entrance where Fred was talking to Sapphire and Tom. "Hey guys."

Fred looks at me and smiles, "Hey."

"We should get going," Kaitlin grabs Julisa and Rox and drags them away. Rox was making kissy faces which causes me to flip her off. 

"Well... We're going too," Sapphire says. "Have fun you two," she winks and walks away with Tom.

"Well... We should get a carriage before they're all taken." Fred says.

I nod, "Okay." We hop onto a carriage. I sat on one side and Fred sits on the other side. "So... What are your plans?"

Fred smiles, "You know. Just Honeydukes, Zonkos, i wish dad's shop was here. Their supplies are way better."

"Right! Like seriously, they need to come here. I need to restock on some supplies." I said.

Fred nods, "me too. Anyways, we can go to the Three broomsticks, of course. Walk around. Go to the lake?"

I smile at him, "sounds good." We reach Hogsmeade and the first place we went to is, Honeydukes. 

"What's your favorite?" Fred asks as he grabs a box of every flavor beans. 

"What's not?" I smile and grab a chocolate frog.

"Touché" 

I laugh, "Touché, is a funny word." 

Fred shakes his head laughing, "it is."

After we paid for our sweets and head to Three Broomsticks. We sit down at a booth off to the side and Fred went to get us butterbeer. I look around the shop and saw Sapphire with Tom. They are so cute together! But honestly, I like her and James together. I know, they hate each other, but come on. You have to admit they would look cute together. I look over at the door of the shop to see Rox, Kaitlin,and Julisa. Oh yay. Kaitlin spots me and waves. I roll my eyes and wave back. Julisa looks over at me, then drags Kaitlin and Rox out of the shop. Thank you Julisa.

"Here you go," Fred sets down two butter beers on the table and slides into the seat across from me. 

I smile and took a sip from the foamy butter beer. "Thanks."

"So, wanna play 21 questions?" Fred asks.

I nod, "Sure." I open a box of every flavor beans and ate one. 

"Favorite... color?" He asks.

"Blue. Dungbombs or Firecrackers?"

"Firecrackers," Fred smirks. "Favorite animal?"

"Pandas, defiantly pandas." I smile, "Also hippogriffs. Um.. Can you catch this with your mouth?" I hold up a jelly bean.

Fred gives me a look, "Of course I can."

"Let's see." I toss the jelly bean into the air and he tries to catch it. but, it hits hit fore head. I laugh, "Yeah. Of course you can."

Fred glares at me, "You just didn't throw it right."

I give him a look, "I didn't throw it right? Or are you just not skilled enough?"

"Let's see you try." Fred throws a jelly bean at me, I tip my head back and catch it in my mouth. 

"Tada." I smirk and ate the jelly bean.

Fred stares at me, "How did you do that?"

"I'm just amazing like that." I smile and pop another jelly bean in my mouth. I toss one at him and it hits his nose. "You suck at this."

"I bet you can't do it again." Fred tosses a jelly bean at me and it hits my forehead. "Ha!"

I glare at him, "you did that on purpose!" I threw three jelly beans at him and they all hit his face.

"Oi!" He throws some back at me.

"Throwing jelly beans at people isn't nice, Freddie." I laugh.

"says the one who threw them first!" Fred shoots back playfully. He throws even more jelly beans at me.

"You're the one who's throwing them back." Threw some back at him.

"you wanna go?" Fred taunts. I laugh and threw a jelly bean at his nose. "You're on." He grabs a hand full and throws it at me.

A couple falls down my shirt. "Oi!" That's how the whole jelly bean fight starts. "You're making a mess, Fred."

"And you're not?" Fred says and throws the empty box at me.

"ahem." A lady coughs.

I look up and saw a lady who works here looking down at us. "hello," I smile innocently. "amazing whether we're having."

She crosses her arms, "Out."

"We didn't do anything," I say innocently.

She rolls her eyes, "You two are making a big mess! i want both of you out! You are not allowed back in here for the rest of the day!" Fred and I exchange looks and stand up, "Out!! Now!!" Basically everyone's attention was on us. So embarrassing! But kinda funny. The Lady grabs us and drags us out of the shop. "Now stay out of here for the rest of the day!" with that, she goes back into the shop.

I look at Fred and he looks at me. then, we burst out laughing, "Oh my Merlin, that was." I laugh.

Fred holds his sides, "that was hilarious."

I nod in agreement, "did you see her face?"

Fred perks up and tries to mimic that Lady, "'You two are making a big mess!'"

"'you are not allowed back in here for the rest of the day!'" I mock.

"Out!! Now!!" Fred says in a pretty good impression of that Lady.

I burst out laughing, "Oh my merlin. That was great." I can get use to hanging out with Fred. :)
