Chapter 37

(Val's pov)

I follow Fred to the hospital wing. Madam Pomfrey had Fred put Sapphire on a bed. "Everyone out!" She orders.

"I'm not leaving," Fred says sternly. It's kinda scary seeing Fred so serious and worried. Then again, we all were. Sapphire just got out of the hospital wing, now she's back.

"Neither am I." I say.

"I'm not leaving," James, Rox, and Albus say.

Pomfrey frowns, "Fine. Everyone else out! Miss Weasley, please go get Headmistress McGonagall." Rose nods and everyone leaves. "Don't get in my way." Pomfrey says to Fred, Rox, Albus, James and I. She tends to Sapphire. I have no idea what she is doing.

"What happened exactly?" Fred asks James.

"Justin and I were walking through the courtyard to go to lunch." James starts, "then Sapphire comes running and ran into me. She was crying and saying that everyone knows and how it was her fault. She said something about Tom hurting her and how she was stubborn. She mentioned her parents disowning her. And then something about Tom being paid by her grandfather. What the hell was that about?"

"I'll tell you in sec." Fred says, "what else did she say?"

"She told us she was pregnant." James says slowly.

Fred sighs in frustration, "I am going to kill Tom."

I grab his hand, "calm down, Freddie. We can tell McGonagall everything and she can punish Tom."

"Punish him? All she'll do is give Tom detention!" Fred exclaims, "we all saw how Sapphire was acting. She was freaking out like a complete nutter."

"It was scary." Rox says quietly, "I've never seen Sapphire act like that. She seemed so scared and upset."

"Screaming like she was getting tortured or something." Albus adds.

"Another thing." James speaks up. "Sapphire said something..."

"What did she say?" I question.

"She said, 'take it away. Kill it. Kill me.'" James says, his face had worry written all of it. He looks just as bad at Fred.

"She said what?!" Fred exclaims in fury. "She said 'kill me'?" James nods, "are you sure?" James nods again. Fred's face hardens, "now I am going to kill Tom slowly and painfully." Fred was about to leave when McGonagall and Scorpius came.

"That's enough Mr. Weasley." McGonagall says. "I will deal with you and Mr. Squallus later. What happened?" James exclaims everything again. Leaving out the part where Sapphire said 'kill me.' I can't believe she would say that. Tom is in deep shit right now.

Scorpius started to freak out, he wasn't at lunch when Sapphire and Tom had a yelling match. "I am going to murder Tom." Scorpius's face darkens.

"Please, Mr. Malfoy. Calm down." McGonagall says. "We will wait for Sapphire to wake up. Then I will speak to her. We have to make sure she is okay."

"Why though?" Scorpius asks, "I mean. She just passed out right?"

"Scorpius." Albus starts, "Sapphire's pregnant."

Scorpius's eyes widen and his jaw drops. "Sapphire is pregnant?! When did this happen?! Is it Tom's? Because I swear I will-"

"Scorpius Malfoy." McGonagall says sternly. Oh dang. "Everyone leave, let Madam Pomfrey and Sapphire has some air. You'll be able to come back two hours after classes have ended today. Now go."

We all groan and slowly left the hospital wing. McGonagall went to find Tom. I hope he gets punished good. We go to the Black Lake to calm down a little. None of us felt like going back to class. Justin, Rose and Lily joins us. I hold Fred's hand. I rest my head on his shoulder. "Why did Sapphire freak out so much?" Justin asks.
