I read again and again.

"What is that supposed to mean?!?" I started to lose patience. "Only a thin layer is separating you from me. All shining and silver..." I mumbled while looking around. "Shiny and silver... Shiny and silver!" I said when I saw the huge mirror behind me.

I immediately went in front of it searching for something, but then looked at the time.

"Shit, only 10 seconds left?!?" I shouted to myself while running toward the table to take a chair.

I rapidly took it and threw it on the huge mirror. It all shattered in an instant and I carefully went inside the dark room not knowing what or who would be there with a hand on my gun.

"Congratulation! You still had 0:03 seconds." someone said in the dark while clapping.

"Identify yourself or I'll be obligated to open fire." I said in a cold monotone voice while aiming at the man in the shadow.

"Why should I when you know exactly who I am since you're were searching for me for on hour now."

"Then please show yourself. If you're the one you're pretending to be then it shouldn't have any problem."

"True, then..." he snapped his fingers and the lights were opened right away.

I was blinded 'cause of the intense sudden light and blinked a few time in order for my eyes to adapt. When I could finally see again, I nearly had a heart attack 'cause now, his face was only an inch from mine.

"W-WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING?" I shouted all flustered while jumping away from Derek's face.

"You said you wanted to see my face." he said like nothing happened while walking toward me again.

"N-yes I did, b-but... I-I-I...." I stuttered 'cause Derek and I was now face to face again.

I didn't know why, but I couldn't take my eyes off his lips, they were enticing me. I just wanted to kiss him right now... I then trailed my gaze up his face and when I met his eyes, it was the most beautiful green color I had never seen. I just stared at him in awe, but rapidly recomposed myself when I nearly drooled. However it didn't seem I was fast enough 'cause I heard a subtle chuckle. I took a deep breath in order to calm myself and gain back my seriousness and put back my gun.
