Hayes Grier Imagine- Dancing With The Stars

          You are a professional dancer on Dancing With The Stars (DWTS). You are the youngest, 15, and smallest dancer on the show. You are also good friends with the all the other dancers, stars, and judges. The years before, you had come close to winning, and were determined to win this year. "Y/n, your partner is Hayes Grier," Julianne says to you. "Okay, sounds good. When do I get to meet him?" you ask. "Tomorrow, actually!" she beamed. "Ok, thanks, Julianne!" you say and start stretching. Witney walks up to you. "Hey, y/n! Do you know your partner yet?" she asks. "Yeah, I do. His name is Hayes Grier. He's a social media star and also 15. I love his vines!" you tell her. Witney smirks and wiggles her eyebrows. "Witney!" you laugh. After a few dance routines, you head home for the night.

          The next day, you wake up and get ready. You walk to the studio, since it's so close to your house. You get there, and put your stuff down. About two minutes later, a cute guy with bright blue eyes and dark brown hair walks in. "You must be Hayes," you say to him, extending your hand. "And you must be y/n," he says, shaking your hand and pulling you into a hug. After you two got to know each other, you listened to the song you would be dancing to. Your first dance was Cha Cha to Cheerleader by OMI. After you stretched, you said, "Alright, we're gonna get right into it today! Are you strong, Hayes?" "I guess," he says, shrugging. "Ok, then. We are going to get Emma and Val to spot us for lifts today!" you exclaim as Val and Emma walk in.

          After they introduce themselves to Hayes, they start demonstrating lifts. Val lifts Emma first, then you. "You have to keep your hands on her waist at all times. It depends on what kind of lift you are doing, but y/n will teach you those later." he says, doing a different kind of lift with you. "You make it look so easy!" Hayes laughs. "Try lifting y/n." Emma says. "Careful, I'm heavy," you warn Hayes. Val chuckles, "She's the smallest and lightest dancer on the show!" Hayes successfully does the lift, and even does the other one Val did. "Ok, you did great!" Emma says. "I got this from here. Thanks guys!" you say to them.

          After they leave, you start the choreography. After many days of rehearsal, the dance is finished, and you both know it. "Hayes, you're doing great!" you exclaim, hugging him. It was the night of the first performances. Hayes was nervous. You stood behind him, rubbing his shoulders, and encouraging him. You guys were up next. When it was your turn, the dance was amazing and Hayes did great! The judges said their stuff, and you got your scores. You got three 7's, so your total was 21. Backstage, you and Hayes were talking. "You did amazing out there! Everyone loves you!" you exclaim. To be honest, you had a crush on Hayes. Little did you know, he was developing a crush on you, too.

          At rehearsals the next day, you immediately put your game face on. "There's gonna be 2 dances this week. One for you and one for me. We have to work extra hard." Nash came into rehearsals the next day. He hit on you a couple of times, and you had to admit, it was surprising! You were in the middle of thinking of the choreography when Nash pointed out how great you looked. You blushed. "Nash! No flirting with y/n while we're dancing!" Hayes yelled. You blushed even harder. Hayes is from North Carolina, and his mom plays a gigantic role in his life, so his mom and little sister, Skylynn, came in to watch him rehearse.

          "Hi, Mrs. Grier! Hi, Skylynn!It's so nice to meet you!" you say. "You're pretty!" Skylynn tells you. "Thank you! But you know what I think? I think you're even prettier!" you giggle. After dancing for a while, you take a break. "It's so hard!" Hayes complains. "Just relax. You're doing amazing!" you say, rubbing his shoulders. His mom catches his eye, and mouths 'She's a keeper'. Both dances were perfect, and you and his mom couldn't be any prouder of him! At rehearsals the next day, as you walked into the building, Hayes held your hand. You guys made eye contact and blushed.

          The fourth week was amazing! It was the most memorable year theme. Hayes chose 2014. The dance was contemporary to Stitches by Shawn Mendes. Hayes improved so much! The dance was amazing, and you got a 27 out of 30! Backstage was a rush! You and Hayes were so happy! "I'm so proud of you! You were amazing! There aren't even words to describe how I'm feeling!" you shout, hugging him. "I couldn't have done it without you!" Hayes said. He picked you up, twirled you around, and kissed you on the cheek. You blushed heavily. Mrs. Grier came running in. "Hayes, you were amazing!" she exclaimed, giving him a huge hug. "Thanks, mom, but I really couldn't have done it without y/n!" he responded. "Hayes is an amazing dancer! We're all so proud of him!" you say to his mom.

          After that, Hayes's mom pulls him to the side. "Honey, I'm so proud of you!" she said, "But there's something else I noticed." Hayes gave her a confused look. "Hayes, do you like y/n?" she asked. "You know, mom. I think I do. Only you would know," he said. "I hope you two will work out, and trust me, I see a connection." she said. "But next week is switch-up week. We're both going to have different partners!" he complained. "And new experiences," his mom replied.

          For switch-up week, Hayes was paired with Allison Holker, and you were paired with Alek Skarlatos. Maksim Chmerkovskiy, Val's brother, was a guest judge. Hayes got a great score, 30 out of 40, and had fun with Allison. You had a real connection with Alek. You two danced perfectly together! You got a 29 out of 40. To be honest, Hayes was jealous. He saw the connection, and thought you liked Alek better as a dancer and as a guy. He was really happy when you guys went back! It was famous dances theme, and Olivia Newton John was a guest judge. You guys were Sandy and Danny from Grease. On the night to the performance, Hayes looked hot! You got a 32 out of 40 with an 8 from Olivia!

         The next theme was Halloween, and Sasha Farber got into spirit by scaring everyone! You and Hayes had to do a waltz to Once Upon A Dream, and Hayes was a werewolf. There was also the group dance. You guys were on Team Nightmare with captains Nick Carter and Sharna Burgess. Rehearsals were hard.You both put in 100% and pushed yourselves. Then came the night of the performance. Hayes's makeup was hilarious! He was a werewolf with a lot of facial hair! You both did a great dance and got a 26 out of 30. Hayes's mom looked so happy in the crowd, you just wanted to hug her and congratulate her for having such an amazing son!

         After the other couples performed, it was team dance time! #TeamNightmare. The dance was great with high energy. All the other couples did really good, too! You got an overall score of 30! A perfect score! The other team got a 28, and did really good! Then, it was elimination time. It was anticipating. You and Hayes were in jeopardy. You held Hayes tighter than ever, and gave a slight smile. The wait was suspenseful until......."The couple who is eliminated is.......Hayes and y/n." You felt crushed, and you could tell Hayes did too. After you talked with Len, Lea, and the judges, the other couples surrounded you. They gave you hugs and lightened the mood. Hayes started to get teary eyed, and that made you cry. You two gave each other the biggest hug, and you cried into his shoulder. He was strong.

         Backstage, his mom came up to you and him. She gave Hayes a big hug, and told him everything would be okay. She also hugged and thanked you. "Hayes, listen to me. It's not all about how the judges and fans think of you. It matters about how you think of yourself. And you are a confident, young, talented man. You're amazing, Hayes, and you're so strong for everyone. Every time you performed on that floor, it was magical. You were a leader, and you gave me a different perspective of everything, and I want to thank you for that!" you said, meaningfully. He enveloped you into another hug, and kissed the top of your head. Hayes gave his mom a sad look, and she gave him an encouraging one. "Mom, can y/n and I talk alone for a minute?" he asks, and she leaves.

         "Y/n, I also want to thank you. I wouldn't be here without you. Everyday, you encouraged and guided me. I love you for that," he said. You meet his eyes. "Y/n, will you be my girlfriend?" he asks. "Of course I will, Hayes!" you respond. You both go in for another hug, but this time, you kiss. There are sparks and passion, but most importantly, love. You broke apart and smiled. His mom came back in and congratulated you. "Thank you so much. You have changed Hayes in such a positive way. Who knows, maybe we'll be related someday!" Mrs. Grier says. "Mom!" he laughs, and you both blush. "Let's take it day by day, because anything and everything is possible."
