(This takes place in Virginia, Matt's hometown.) (y/f/n = your full name)

You wake up in the morning to your adorable sleeping boyfriend, Matt. His arm is wrapped around your waist, and his cheeks are red. You kiss his forehead, and his eyes flutter open. "Good morning, babe," he says, voice still raspy from sleep. "Morning!" you chirp. As you get out of bed, you get changed. You dress warmer, since it's fall, and the air is becoming cooler. As Matt pulls on a shirt, he asks, "Do you wanna go to Starbucks for breakfast?" Your eyes light up, "What kind of question is that? Of course I do!" You guys drive to Starbucks, and find a table next to the window. While Matt goes to order your food, you stare out the window.

10 minutes later, Matt comes back with a Cinnamon Roll Frappuccino, a Peppermint Mocha Frappuccino, 2 coffee cakes, and 2 bagels with cream cheese. "You know me well, Espinosa," you say, taking a bite of your food. He chuckles and takes a sip of his frappuccino. "So, what do you want to do after this?" he asks. "Um, can we go to the park and walk our dog?" you suggest. "Sure!" he says. After you go home and pick up Matt's dog, you walk to the park. You take the scenic trail. "It's so beautiful!" you gasp, holding his hand. All the leaves are changing colors and falling.

Matt's POV

As I fumbled with the black velvet box in my pocket, I looked at y/n's beautiful face. Yes, I was going to propose to her. We had been dating for 5 years, and I knew it was time to pop the question. I loved her so much there aren't even words I can use. I watched her smile, her cheeks rosy from the cold. I watched when she bit her lip because it was a habit of hers. I watched the way her pretty eyes lit up. I could get lost in them. I watched her nose wrinkle whenever she heard or saw something she didn't like. She had such a caring side of her. She was so passionate and loving. She was the best thing that ever happened to me. "Matt? Hello?" she said, waving her hand in front of me. Dang, I must've been staring at her for too long. "Yeah, babe?" I ask, wiping my sweaty palms on my pants.

She giggled, and stopped to pet our dog. We had come to our favorite part of the trail. It was time. I'm so nervous. "Y/n?" I ask. "Yeah, Matt? Are you okay? You seem a little nervous," she replied, concerned. She knew me so well that she could read my every emotion. "I'm fine. I just need to tell you something." I say, taking a deep breath.

Your POV

You watch him take a deep breath, almost like an attempt to calm himself down. To be honest, you were worried about Matt. He seemed nervous and shaken up. Something was going to happen. Was he going to break up with you? "Y/n," he began, "I love you so much. I can't even explain. You light me up every day. You're so beautiful and caring. My whole life changed when I met you. My life is amazing with you by my side! I can trust you, and you can trust me. We're honest to each other. We love each other. You have a special place in my heart, and you always will. You're so adventurous and confident, and I love every single thing about you. You're a dream come true! My love story is with you, and when I see myself in the mirror, I see you with me too. Just think about it, we have overcome so many challenges together. We're the perfect two, and our future holds even more. You're the one I want to share the rest of my life with." he says.

He pulls out a beautiful, dazzling diamond ring. "Y/f/n, will you marry me?" he finishes. Your heart leaps, and tears fill your eyes. "Matthew, I love you so much! Yes, of course I'll marry you!" you beam, throwing your arms around his neck. He smiles the biggest he ever has, and gives you a passionate kiss. "I love you so much," he mumbles on your lips. He slides the ring on your finger, and you know it's meant to be."Mrs. y/n Espinosa," he says. "I love it," you reply. "We'll be together forever."
