"Hey, babe! I'm home!" you say, as you put your backpack down on the chair. You had just gotten home from school. Exams just ended and you couldn't be happier. Jack walks into the room with a stone cold expression on his face, and his eyes dark. "Babe, what-" you begin to say, but get cut off by him. "Care to explain?" he spits, showing you his phone. A fan tweeted a pic of you and your ex boyfriend kissing from 3 years ago.

There were a lot of negative comments on the posts. Jack's jaw was set, and you knew he believed the post. "Babe, that pic was from 3 years ago," you explain.

"Then why does it say, 'Taken 4 weeks ago'? And don't call me babe," he growls. You were really surprised. He never acted like this, and he loved when you called him babe. "It was probably just some fan that wants to start drama," you say. "Are you insulting my fans?" he scowls, looking you dead in the eye. "No, Jack. It's just. Why do you believe the post? Do you not trust me? I broke up with Logan 3 years ago. I love you and only you." you state. "Yeah? Well I have a hard time believing that. You traveled to Texas, his home state, oh let me see. 4 weeks ago! Who knows what you could've done?!" he yells. "Just trust me on this, Jack!" you say, raising your voice.

"No! I can't trust a girl who goes behind my back, and cheats on me with her ex! And to think I ever loved you!" he shouts, running his fingers through his hair. Tears prick in the back of your eyes. "Well, good relationships are all about trust and love!" you yell, your face getting red. "Then maybe we shouldn't be in a relationship!" he screams, towering over you. "Yeah, maybe we shouldn't!" you shout, "I wish I had never dated you!" You regret it as soon as you say it. The world freezes. Jack's eyes fill with hurt, then more anger. "We're through so you don't have to worry about me anymore!" he shouts, walking towards the door.

"I'll be here tomorrow to pick up my stuff," he forces out, before leaving and slamming the door behind him. You let the tears fall, and sobs rake your body. You call your best friend over. As soon as she sees you, she drops her bags, runs up, and hugs you. "What happened?" she whispers, rubbing your back. "J-jack got worked up o-over an old picture of m-me and Logan kissing. We g-got really mad at each other, and ended it," you whimper. "I'm so sorry. He made a big mistake. He'll come back. I promise," she comforts. "But for now, I brought candy, ice cream, Nutella, pretzels, and movies!" she exclaims. You laugh and dry your tears.

There was just a hole in your heart. Not even ice cream, Nutella, or Netflix could fill it. Only Jack could. But for now, it was time to at least try to fill it. "Which movie should we watch first?" your bestie asks. "Um. Pitch Perfect!" you laugh."There's my girl!" she says, handing you a pint of ice cream. You lay on the couch, in your pajamas with blankets wrapped around you. Your phone lights up, and it's a text from Jack Johnson, one of your closest guy friends. It said, 'What happened between u and Gilinsky? U guys were perfect together! Let me know if u need to talk. Feel better <3.' Your best friend reads it. "How does Johnson know?" she questions. "Jack probably told him," you say, your voice cracking.
