About an hour later into this 'shin dig' it hits me that this is no longer a shin dig. This is a make out party. Jack and Isaac have been all over pretty much every girl here already. It's literally the entire female population of this trip and the three boys. Well played Isaac.

"Are you having fun?" Cameron asks as he sits next to me on Isaac's bed.

"Yeah it's always great having to watch your best friend and twin brother make out with random girls" I shrug looking back at my phone.

"Yeah" He says awkwardly. "Just so you know, this wasn't my idea."

"I thought you were the lad that came up with this genius plan."

"I just wanted a little get together so that I could get to know some people here. I've only been at our school since winter break finished."

"So that's why I haven't seen you around. You've only been at school for like a week." I say looking up at him. The dimmed lights in here really do make his eyes sparkle. I can't think like that. He's my brother's friend and I've been forbidden from dating anyone  until I'm about 50.

"I've seen you around though."

"You have? You should have come say hi"

"You were with your cheerleader friends. I didn't want to make an idiot of myself in front all the hottest girls in school" He shrugs, brushing off the major compliment within that sentence.

"I'm not a cheerleader" I tell him. "Anymore"

"Why'd you quit?"

"I couldn't handle the constant sports talk- like I get it at home enough having a sports mad family. I don't need it at school as well."

"Wait, what did you say your last name was?" He says, the realisation of who I am finally hitting him.

"I don't think I did" I smirk. "But it's Allcroft"

"Charlie Allcroft? Quarterback for the Miami Dolphins?" He says excitedly. "And Tyler Allcroft? Shooting guard for the lakers?"

"Yeah" I sigh. "They're my brothers" For once I thought it would be nice if someone knew me for something other than what my brothers do.

"I've seen you on TV before."

"Front row does have its perks" I shrug.

"So what do you play?" He says suddenly deeply interested in me. I put my phone down next to me and turn to look at him.

"A little bit of everything"

"What exactly is everything?"

"Well the sports my brothers do- football, baseball, basketball, snowboarding, ice hockey, track and field and soccer"

"How many brothers did you say you have?"

"7"

"Any sisters?"

"Nope, just me."

"Wow. Must be kinda hard being the only girl in your family. I have one sister, no brothers. I guess we have something in common."

"And that is?"

"That we're both the only one of our gender in our family."

"What about your dad?"

"He left when we were really little. We don't talk about him much." Cameron tell me, looking at his hands which lay in his lap. I reach out and take one of them. He looks up at me almost immediately.
