"No, we have to go to Tyler's game. I think I owe it to him. And Mase." I plea. "Please mom"

"Go on Mom, let her. She's missed out on 3 days that she'll never get back and no doubt you'll make her stay in bed for the next year-" Charlie says solemnly. Mom is such a sucker for what Charlie wants. She'll fly to the other side of the world just to pick up a box of his favourite cereal.

"Fine." She interjects. "And no, I'm not letting her stay in bed. She's going to school everyday. It's her own damn fault."

"Gee thanks mom" I mutter under my breath. Noah nudges me softly, making me look into the rear view mirror. She's glaring at me. Why is everyone so mad at me? I didn't choose to fall down a cliff. I didn't choose to crack my head open. I didn't choose to crush every bone in my right arm.

"We're getting the first flight back to LA right mom?" Tyler asks.

"Your father is booking the flights right now. Luckily the next flight is extremely early so it shouldn't be too busy" Mom explains.

After waiting for a long time of Dad talking to the bookings representative and saying 'yes' 'hmm' 'okay' and 'thank you', he finally hangs up.

"Okay. Charlie, Tyler and Max, I got you all upgraded to first class because the receptionist was a huge fan of you guys. Oscar, you're with Mom. Noah with me and Mase. Luna and Isaac you're together." He says quickly before he forgets all the arrangements. Isaac sucks in a huge deep breath from the seat behind me. I ignore it and lean my head against the window once again.

"Can I sign your cast?" Noah whispers softly, he thinks I'm asleep.

"Sure" I shrug. He takes a sharpie from his backpack and pulls the cap off with his teeth. His longish brown hair falls into his eyes as I use my free hand to comb it back; I have a slight obsession with running my fingers through people's hair, it's a blessing and a curse. I watch as he writes 'Noah' with a love heart in his best handwriting. "Looks good" I smile as he rummages through his backpack again for a red pen. He colours in the heart with more care than I've ever seen him take in my life.

"If it makes you feel better I'll let you write on my arm?" He says with a smile.

"It's okay" I shrug looking back out the window. I'm not in the mood to be fun older sister Luna right now. Plus, I can't even use my writing hand.

"She can't write doofus" Mason says from behind, smacking Noah on the back of the head.

"Ouch! Mom! Mason just hit me." Noah whines. They begin the usual 'no I didn't' 'yes you did! Everyone saw you' routine that we get during every car journey. I pull out Noah's iPod from his backpack and press shuffle. I shut my eyes and absorb myself into the song; granted, my little brother doesn't have a very good music taste, it still does the trick.

"We're here" Dad declares as we pull into the parking lot. I feel Noah pull my headphone out of my ear as I open my eyes.

"Dad said-"

"I heard" I mutter. I climb out of the car, grabbing the bag that Sawyer packed for me. I haven't actually looked through it yet but I'm trusting she did a good job. I sling it over my shoulder and use my spare hand to wheel my badly packed suitcase through the parking lot. Thanks for that Saac.

We check in with plenty of time to spare and head to the closest Starbucks. Everyone's exhausted but I can't bare to even think about sleeping. I've been asleep for 3 days straight, what if next time I don't wake up?

"What do you want?" Charlie looks down on my as I look around the almost empty airport.

"Nothing" I shrug.

"Lu, you're going to be alright" He assures me. He can read me like a book. Is it that obvious that I'm losing my mind?

"I know" I say still focusing my attention on the little girl sat on the floor by the window watching the planes sit idle on the runway. Her parents are no where to be seen. I look around my surroundings one last time but no one seems to be worried they've lost their daughter. I take a breath and walk over to her. I sit down next to her and watch out the window.

"You know, this is my favourite thing to do at the airport." I say softly. She looks up at me, her blonde hair swishing over her shoulder as she does so. She kind of reminds me of myself at that age; lets just hope her life doesn't turn out as messy as mine has.

"It is?" She says, innocence running through her voice.

"Yeah, when it's crazy busy in here I just look out there and see how peaceful it is."

"I guess you're right" She smiles. She's only about 8 or 9 but she looks like she's had a lifetime of wisdom thrown at her.

"Where are your parents?" I ask with a small smile.

"Bathroom." She shrugs. "What happened to your arm?" I look down at my purple cast.

"Skiing accident. Always wear protective gear." I shrug.

"Does it hurt?"

"Not at all" I wish it would.

"I'm Rachel by the way." She smiles.

"I'm Luna." I smile.

"Hmm, weird name."

"Weird girl" I laugh with a shrug.

"Rachel lets go" I hear a male voice behind us. We turn around instantly to see who I assume is Rachel's father waiting for her. A tall, well educated looking man looks at his watch and then holds his hand out for her to follow.

"It was nice meeting you Luna. I hope your arm gets better soon"

"Yeah, me too" I mutter before she runs off in the direction of her dad.

"Did you make a new friend?" Tyler laughs sitting beside me on the ground.

"Funny" I groan, rolling my eyes at him.

"So don't get mad-" Tyler starts, instantly making my blood boil. Every time he says that I know he's done something stupid. "But I invited your boyfriend to my game."

"Wait" I say coming to the realisation of what he's just said. "You did? Why? How?"

"I thought he might cheer you up. I took his number from your phone and called him just a second ago."

"It's almost 3am" I tell him.

"Yeah, I forgot about that. When he realised who it was he was totally fine with it."

"He's a big fan" I shrug.

"I can tell. Is this what you're like whenever Zac Efron comes on tv?" He says bumping his shoulder against mine softly.

"Don't hate on Zac." I say putting my hand up in a 'talk to the hand cos' the face ain't listening' fashion.

"Okay miss sassy, I'm not hating." He laughs. "Cam's meeting us front row" Tyler says getting back to business. "I already emailed him the e-ticket."

"Thanks Ty" I smile genuinely.

"Anything for my little Luna" He beams. "Sorry I was so frosty with you earlier."

"It's okay"

"It's just I really wanted dad to come to the game but I didn't think they'd let you out in time."

"I get it Ty"

"So yeah, sorry again."

"Tyler. It's okay. Honestly."

"Okay good" He lets out a sigh of relief. "So can I sign your cast?"
