"For the last time Isaac. I'm completely fine." I say walking out of the bathroom as he tries to hold a hand to my forehead to check for a temperature.
"Charlie says I have to look after you, that's all I'm doing."
"I know, and it's sweet but honestly, you're driving me mad." I laugh as we enter the main room. Alexa and Jack sit up immediately as we enter. Alexa practically drools over Isaac as he runs a hand through his long curly hair. I shake my head with a laugh before turning to my suitcase to find something to wear.
"So Luna. I heard about how much of a slut you were last night" I hear Alexa's voice as I pull my shirt over my head.
"Whatever" I groan. I'm not going to let some fake, wannabe me judge me.
"I don't even know why you try. Don't you know he's been texting a girl from his old school?"
"Alexa why don't you do yourself a favour and shut the hell up before I make you?" I say sternly.
"Don't talk to her like that" Jack interjects.
"Don't even get me started on you" I growl, my back to the pair of them. I pull my jeans up and drop my towel.
"Try me. I dare you." He scowls as I turn to face him.
"You call yourself my best friend yet you go and act like I'm a complete bitch for telling you what you need to hear. She's using you Jack. She only got close to you to get to Saac."
"You think the whole world revolves around you and Isaac. Well newsflash, it's doesn't. And you are a bitch. Always have been, always will be."
"That's not what you were saying last summer when you were trying to get into my pants." I shrug. "I didn't tell anyone about that because I thought we were best friends and we don't stab each other in the back but if you're gonna carry on acting like this then maybe I'll tell the whole world."
                              "You wouldn't."
"Try me. I dare you." I say, using his own words against him. "My whole life, you've been there and now?"
                              "Now what?"
"Now every time I look at you there's a big black hole where my feelings should be."
"Ouch" He says sadly. He looks to Alexa.
"But it's fine. You choose your plastic bimbo of a 'girlfriend'" I say giving air quotes to emphasise my sarcasm. "Just know that this time I won't be here for you to fall back on." I shrug. I look to Isaac and Sawyer. "Do you guys wanna go get breakfast?" They nod awkwardly before following me out the door.
                              ***
"You know, for a second there I didn't think you guys were gonna follow me" I say with a slight laugh as I fill my mouth with a spoonful of lucky charms.
"Of course we would" Sawyer laughs. "You're my best friend- I have no loyalties to Jack. Like I said, if you hate him then I hate him too."
"Yeah, and you're my sister. Bros before hoes remember." Isaac replies shoving a pancake into his mouth whole. "Well, you know what I mean."
"Well duh I do" I laugh. That's a famous saying in our family, considering I have 7 brothers it kind of makes sense. It just means that I count as another brother in the figurative sense.
"Hey peeps" I hear Cameron's voice as he sits down beside me. He kisses my head before settling into his seat. "How are we all on this fine morning?"
"What's got you so cheery?" I say bluntly.
"And what's got you so miserable?" He laughs as if he doesn't have a problem in the world.
"Jack and Luna had an argument. Again." Isaac rolls his eyes, digging into another pancake.
"What is it with you and fighting with everyone? Is there anyone in this room you haven't had a fight with?"
"I haven't had a proper fight with Saac. And I never threw a punch at Sawyer." I shrug. "I've never even touched you"
"Oh you've done more than touch me" He smirks making me turn the brightest shade of red on the planet. Isaac motions throwing up whilst making gagging noises.
                              "Twin sister. TMI." He groans.
                              "Sorry bro" Cameron shrugs.
"You better not be taking advantage of my little Luna-"
"He's not" I interject before he can finish the sentence.
"I wouldn't dream of it Saac. I've heard the stories. I really don't want to face all 7 brothers at once."
"Oscar's not much of a threat" I laugh.
"Hey, have you been in the ring with that kid? He's a maniac." Isaac laughs. We kind of have these family boxing nights. I always end up with a bloody nose and a black eye but that's how you know we had a lot of fun.
"You know you can pick him up and throw him on your shoulder right?" I laugh.
"You're kidding me" Isaac says seriously. "And I haven't thought of that until now because..."
"Because I'm smarter than you. And prettier"
"I'll give you smarter but no way are you prettier." He rolls his eyes.
"You look the same" Sawyer laughs. I finish my bowl of cereal and reach over for one of Isaac's pancakes from the mountain he has on his plate. He sees me stealing and quickly jabs me with his fork, a little harder than he intended to.
"Ow bitch, that hurt" I groan. "But fine, I'll get my own" I shake my head and head up to the buffet bar. I stack my plate high with chocolate chip pancakes as I look over to Alexa and Jack. Jack is already staring straight back at me. He smiles softly before turning back to his girlfriend. I scowl at him before sitting back in my seat. Cameron reaches over and takes one of my pancakes before I can stop him.
"I'm too fast for you" He smirks, shoving the whole thing in his mouth.
"You're gross" I say in disgust.
"And you're cute but you don't hear me complaining" He shrugs. I shake my head with a laugh before devouring my plate of food.
By the time I've finished, my pants button barely stays together and I can hardly walk. Cameron offers me a piggy back but I decline. Seconds later Isaac stops in front of me to let me hop on so I do. When I'm with Isaac I don't care what I look like or how heavy I am but with Cameron I feel like the slightest bit of pressure would burst him into a million pieces. A plate of pancakes was all it took to make me feel this insecure once again.
