About 2 hours into skiing/snowboarding with my 5 friends, we decide to make a stop in the middle of the woods. The sun bursts through the trees above us. We sit in the snow, completely unaffected by the cold that surrounds us.

"There's honestly no other place I'd rather be right now" Sawyer smiles at Saac. I'm not sure but I think they're dating. He moves that fast.

"Me either" Alexa says giving Johnson the googley eyes. I can't help but look over at Cameron. He seems out of his depth here. We've all known each other for years- granted we weren't all friends back then but at least we knew each other. I slide across the snow to my newest friend.

"Hey" I say quietly.

"Hey Luna" He says somewhat sadly.

"What's up? You seem sad"

"I'm not" He says avoiding contact.

"Cameron. I grew up with 7 boys. I know how to tell when one is lying." I smile, unzipping my coat slightly to stop myself from boiling.

"I feel like such an outsider" He looks up through the trees.

"You aren't. You're a part of this group whether you like it or not. You're stuck with us" I tell him.

"So you actually want me?"

"Of course I do" I say with a friendly tone.

"Well that's good because I want you too. In more ways than one." He smirks to himself. I sit there completely gobsmacked at what he's just said. Now I'm no boy expert but I'm pretty sure that had sexual connotations. Maybe Isaac shouldn't be the one I go to for boy advice on this one.

He runs a hand through his messy hair before pulling his hat back on and clipping his shoes into his skis.

"Shall we carry on skiing then?" Alexa says following suit. We all pull on our protective gear before heading back down the slope.

"Guess what?" Isaac says sitting opposite me as I take one of his chicken nuggets as we sit down for dinner.

"What?" I say plopping the stolen food into my mouth.

"Apparently there's a disco type thing in one of the bars tonight. I'm gonna ask Newbie if we're allowed to go"

"Since when do you ask to do something?" I laugh.

"Never. In that case I'm going to go. And you're coming with me."

"Do I have a choice in the matter?" I smirk.

"Nope. You're my sister- that means that I get to drag you into everything crazy that I do."

"And I couldn't be more honoured" I laugh.

"So you need to put on your best party clothes and meet me in my room at exactly 9pm."

"Are you inviting the others?"

"No." He says bluntly. "I need my Luna loving" he beams.

"Such a gimp" I shake my head, pushing the food around my plate. He reaches over to my plate, picking up a cocktail sausage and throwing it into the air, catching it in his mouth.

"Hey babe" Sawyer says as she walks over.

"Hey babe" I mock, laughing at my brother.

"Enough of that Luna eclipse" He smirks.

"So what are we doing tonight?" She asks him.

"I can't hang out tonight. I've asked Luna if she wants to hang out"

"Oh I see how it is" She glares at me slightly.

"S don't be like this" He says sympathetically.

"It's happening yet again" Sawyer sighs.

"Sawyer, I'm going to be real with you now." I start. "Isaac and I are twins. I get that you're together now or whatever you are- but nothing will ever come above Isaac and I's relationship. Don't get me wrong; I'm extremely happy that you two are doing whatever you're doing but I can't deal with you 'not allowing' him to even talk to me S"

"I know" She sighs.

"If you're going to be one of those girls who is all like 'it's me or her' then you're going to have to get it into your head pretty quickly that he's going to pick me every single time" I vent.

"I know Lu- you can stop now" Sawyer exclaims.

"Good" I shrug. "I just needed to get that out"

"I can tell" she says with a slight laugh.

"Maybe I should call you Luna-tic instead" Isaac laughs.

"That's better than Luna eclipse" I shrug.

"You know I'm kind of glad you got all that out. I know where I stand now. I'm an idiot for thinking that I'm entitled to all of Isaac's time." Sawyer says with a smile. I'm actually surprised she didn't go crazy back at me. "A Luna-tic in fact"

"What's this about Luna?" Johnson beams as he joins the table.

"She turned into a lunatic" Saac explains.

"Ha that's funny." He responds with a mouthful of food. "Because your name is Luna"

"Well done Einstein" I shake my head as I push my plate away from me. Johnson frowns at me as I give him a look that tells him to drop it. Isaac stands to get some more food from the buffet station so I take this chance to talk to Jack.

"So the weirdest thing happened to today and I need your input" I start. He's interested now. Sawyer leans in as I lower my voice. "Cameron and I were talking and he told me that he wants me too. In more ways than one."

"What does that even mean?" Sawyer exclaims looking at Jack expectantly.

"In the simplest way to put it. He wants to get into your pants" Jack shrugs. He runs a hand through his thick blonde hair before shovelling another forkful of food down his throat.

"He just met her" Sawyer groans. "Why are there no good guys in the world anymore?"

"Um excuse me" Jack interjects.

"Yeah there's you but you don't count"

"How don't I count? I'm a boy aren't I?"  He says slightly hurt.

"Trust me, I can vouch for that"  I laugh. Yes I've seen Jack naked before; purely by accident that is. I accidentally walked in on him when he was showering round our house one time. Things haven't quite been the same since. He insists that he should see me naked to even the playing field but I don't know any kind of sports that work on that basis.

"I'm not even going to ask" Sawyer laughs. "I just meant. You're not exactly boyfriend material for Luna or I- you're the best friend."

"Major friend zonage right there" Jack laughs.

"That's not a word" I mutter, losing interest in the conversation. I watch as Cameron sits down at a table full of cheerleaders. What is up with him? One minute he's telling me he likes me and the next he's drooling over a load of wannabes.

"Luna what are you staring at?" One of the girls shouts across the room. I shake out of my daze. The whole table looks expectant.

"It's probably a good thing she quit the team. Look at her, she'd never keep up now" Another girl I used to call my team member remarks.

"You better watch what you're saying Mel" Alexa comes to my rescue. "Coach is looking to make some cuts, you don't want to find yourself at the top of the list do you?" She challenges. I push my plate further away as I cover myself with my arms. I've always struggled with my weight. My parents made me quit cheer after I lost too much weight and now I'm putting it all back on. Ever since I gave that stupid kidney.
