The countryside of Majora was quickly passing by as the train moved.
The view was enough to make me forget that I'm leaving my mother with nothing but a note. I hope David doesn't get...violent...with her while I'm gone. I definitely will not miss White Light Academy. That place was full of giant dicks. But i'll admit that I'm nervous since I never really left Majora that often. The only time that I left Majora was when I went to Alls-Fell to visit my late grandmother, Kathryn, with my dad, but even that was around eight years ago. I know Sebastian was born in Alls-Fell, and it actually wasn't that bad of a place. Well I'm not sure now since it has been eight years.
"What are you thinking about?" I heard Sebastian ask me as he lay his head on my shoulder. I blushed lightly at the contact. Damn him with his demonic smooth moves. "The last time that I went anywhere outside of Majora." I said. "Wasn't that when you went to my hometown?" he asked with a tone of light curiousity. I nodded my head in response.
"Well don't you two seem coy." I looked towards the smug voice, and saw that it was Erna. I groaned and Sebastian snuggled even closer to me as he said "Trust me we are very coy~". I punched him on the thigh for that one. He pulled his head off of my shoulder as he said, still smirking, "Well, what do you need, bitties?" I chuckled at the nickname for Erna. "I used to be a queen, you know. I could kill even an incubus like you at any moment." Erna said through gritted teeth. "Yeah, "The Queen of the Valkyries", right? But then a more booty-ful valkyrie came along and your subjects chose her over you." Sebastian continued even though Erna's rage continued to grow "The new queen who wants peace over your glorious bloodshed is Elfrida, yes?" Sebastian finished with a mischievous and dark glint in his green eyes. "Don't say that name! That hippie took what rightfully belongs to me!" Erna's rage exploded with that one sentence. Her hair color intensified, and her crimson eye brightened to a coral red. Not this again. Sebastian leaned into his seat looking satisfied with himself.
Fortunately, before anything could escalate further Tristesse's pale hand grab Erna's shoulder. "Calm down, Erna. Their is no need to get violent at the moment." her calm, French accented voice said to the redhead. "Leave and I'll take it from here." Erna calmed down afterwards and glared at Sebastian as she stomped out of the train car. Tristesse sat down across from Sebastian and I with cool elegance. "I wanted Erna to come and get the both of you so I could talk to you, but it seems like that didn't work out so well." she said while taking a side-glance at Sebastian. I swung my legs onto Sebastian's lap as I asked the French female "What did you want to talk about?"
"Have you ever seen anything outside of your hometown? Have you ever wanted to know what happens outside of your sheltered life? Do you know what's happening within the Magic Council? What you are, or what your capabilities are as a witch?" She asked, keeping her non-emotional tone while keeping eye contact with me.
"No, not really, and what exactly makes you so sure I am a witch in the first place." I responded, while wondering where she was getting at with this series of questions.
"You'll find out soon enough." she said, motioning to stand up and walk out of the train car.
Sebastian seemed to be focused on the scenery outside the window rather than the conversation.
"I'll take my leave now, and get back to the other's." Tristesse said as she opened the car door to exit into the other train car.
"Is it true that you used to an angel?" Sebastian suddenly asked the former...angel?
Tristesse notably stiffened before responding a quiet "Yes". After that one word she left leaving a satisfied Sebastian, and a brooding Emmaline. What? I can't use third person...? Fine.
"What was that about?" I asked the incubus sitting next to me.
"I just wanted to know if the stories were right or not. And it appears the stories, well at least some parts, are true. This is gonna get exciting." he said with a smile. I have completely lost track of what is happening. I need a nap. No. I need a thirty hour nap. I just want to set aside everything for a little while. I put my hand in my pocket and curl my mother's hair around my finger in a calming rhythm. Raveling and unraveling. Raveling and unraveling. My eyes begin to begin to shut as Nerium opens the door and says "Oi, get your shit we get off the next stop."
Shit. Not even three seconds of precious shut-eye. Sebastian was already up and getting his stuff while I still sit and look out the window. I hear the announcer's voice over the speakers say "IN TWO MINUTES WE WILL BE ARRIVING IN ALLS-FELL!"
"Come on, Emmaline." Sebastian as he threw my, quite heavy, bag onto my lap. I grunted at the contact. Why are we going to Alls-Fell? I haven't been there in such a long time, and the last time I was there when my dad was still alive. What are they getting at, really. Sebastian pulled a piece of my hair, which caused me to smack his hand. He then grabbed that very hand and pulled me to my feet. I was immediately greeted by the view of his chest. Thanks for being taller than me, asshole. I looked up into his eyes, and grimaced. His smile brightened at my grimace. That damn sexy demon.
"We have to go you know." Nerium said as she leaned against the door. I actually forgot she was there. I grabbed my stuff, and walked out of the train car. The other three women were waiting at the exit door of the train.
"WE HAVE ARRIVED AT ALLS-FELL! IF YOU ARE GETTING OFF PLEASE TAKE ALL OF YOUR ITEMS AND GET OFF! THANK YOU FOR RIDING THE SUTRAN IMPERIAL TRAIN SERVICE!" the loud train conductor said as the train slowed to a crawl. As the train began moving again we were all standing on the platform. The sun's rays were spilling over the horizon, by the time we made it to an inn. The receptionist was nice, but me and Sebastian have to share a room. Yet all of the other's get their own room. That's some bullshit. They never even gave me a reasonable explanation. It doesn't even matter at the moment. There's a nice comfy bed calling my name...
Sebastian rolls his eyes at my laziness, but he proceeds to put clothes away. But finally I can feel my eyes begin to drift close.
Finally, sweet temporary release.....
