Going outside was a mistake.
Having Cynthia and Sebastian together? A mistake. I regret agreeing to going outside with these two. All we did was walk to the nearest diner, sit down at a booth, order food, eat the food, and now Sebastian and Cynthia are arguing. Why? Because this dipshit incubus had to order something expensive and now Cynthia can't pay the bill. Fucking thanks.
"You don't even have to eat regular food!" Cynthia whisper-shouted.
"I like to treat myself." Sebastian countered.
"Fuck you, Sebby." I said, adding the nickname just to piss him off.
"Hey-" Before Sebastian could get another word in he was interrupted by the waitress.
"Are you having problems, lads?" Her name tag read 'Bronwyn', odd name...
"Ah, yes," Cynthia put on a front that hid her inner freak out from anyone that wasn't a telepath. "I don't have enough money to pay for the bill..."
"Well, I apologize but there is not much I can do about that." Bronwyn said, an apologetic expression evident on her face.
"Is there anything we can do?" I asked while trying to make myself look as small as I could.
"Not much," She said before passing Sebastian a note. "But, if you can't pay then I'll have to call the Sutran Guard."
Sebastian quickly scans over the note and gives a smile and a nod toward Bronwyn. I didn't have to take a glance at the note, or pay attention to Bronwyn's thoughts to know what was happening. The damn waitress was ogling Sebastian ever since we walked in here. "Actually-" A third voice cuts in before Bronwyn could say anything else.
"Is there a problem?" I turn to the owner of this voice and see a girl who looked about my age. This stranger had ginger hair, with the upper section cut so that her bangs reached her shoulders and concealed her left eye with the back reaching her ears. Some of her hair, underneath the shorter part of hair, was kept in a long low ponytail. Her eye was a deep gray. She wore a black long sleeved turtleneck, black high-waisted pants, black heeled knee-high boots, and a short-sleeved dark brown trench coat. She looked a little familiar... What was odder than her sudden inclusion in our conversation was her taste in company. A grimalkin, you don't see many of those in Sutra.
Her grimalkin companion had long wavy black hair with garnet and cobalt colored streaks going through it, her eyes were colored a bright carmine red. Dark gray colored cat ears stood at attention on her head, and she had two dark gray, black-tipped fluffy tails. She wore a black cardigan over a purple long-sleeved, cleavage revealing, shirt that tucked into a short pleated skirt. She also wore heeled, steel-toed, thigh-high black boots. The twin-tailed grimalkin stood at least 5 inches taller than her ginger friend. I couldn't hear any of their thoughts, I guess I found some more people I could add to the growing list of people's thoughts I couldn't hear.
"No," Bronwyn said to the new strangers. "Actually, the problem has been fixed, so you guys can go and have fun. Thank you for coming." She gave a wink to Sebastian, who winked back.
"You're a horndog." I told Sebastian the moment we were at least 10 meters from the diner.
"It's not my fault I'm so devilishly hot~" I'm just going to ignore that pun.
"You're also an idiot." Cynthia added.
"Hey!" Sebastian actually looked offended.
"Are you three alright?" I turn around and see that it's the same ginger and her grimalkin friend from the diner.
"Yes, but their is no need to worry." Cynthia kindly responded to the ginger's question.
"That's good," The ginger gestured to her grimalkin friend "My friend overheard your argument and wanted to make sure everything was alright." She spoke with an air of regality, not something I would expect of someone living out here in Alls-Fell. Twin-Tails remained silent, but I noticed she was staring at me.
