Revelation part 2

Soooooo.....I type a lot last night took me at least three hours. Stood up to go in my room and accidentally deleted it all. I got mad and went to sleep. Soooo...I'm updating .

As Venus was walking towards her room, someone grabbed her arm. "Babe wait." Roc said pulling her to him.

"I have nothing to say to you!" She yelled trying to walk away but her he stopped her.

"Please jhai wait!!" Venus stopped in her tracks when she heard what he had called her.

"What did you call me?" She asked thinking she hadn't heard him right.

"Jhai. Your REAL name." He confirmed.

"How do you know that? She asked " who told you."

"So you really don't recognize me?" Venus shook her head no. "Southern California Arts Academy. 2-7th grade. Buck teeth, thick glasses, puffy hair. Damn. It's sad when you don't remember you best wait ONLY friend."

"Chresanto?" She was In awe. Chres and her had been best friends since thAt day in 2nd grade when he stood up to a guy that was bullying her. He had always been the quiet nerdy one in her class but they soon became close. In the middle of the summer before 8th grade he just up and moved. "Wow. I don't know what to say. This makes everything so much clearer. You left And joined Mindless Behavior. Wow I always said something was familiar about Roc Royal. Maybe that's why you were my favorite. Wow..."

"Yes babe it's me. I had a little makeover. Invisalign for five years and a texturizer worked some magic huh? I missed you." He said smiling trying to give her a hug. She moved away. "What's wrong? Didn't you miss me?"

"Of course I did. But that doesn't mean I'm just going to forget everything and fall into your arms. You hurt me!" She tried to walk away but he stopped her.

"Just let me explain ?" He pleaded.

"I have to go." She said "Princeton is waiting for me." She pushed passed him and walked out the door.

"What were you doing? Sewing the jacket yourself?" Prince joked as Venus walked outside. Venus playfully pushed him. "Lets go." They walked down the street hand in hand.

"Princeton where are you taking me?" She asked as they furthered down the road.

"It's a surprise." He smiled and they walking in silence. They stopped in front of a big building. It was dark and looked abandoned. Princeton walked up to the door but V stood frozen at the curb. "Come on." He wave to her.

"Uh uh prince I ain't going in there." She crossed her arms.

"I got you." He said going back to grab her hand. They walked into what looked like an old barber shop. "Stay here." Prince smiled then disappeared behind a beaded curtain. He was gone for a long time and just as Venus was becoming impatient, he returned. "You ready?" He asked grabbing her hand.

"Umm...I guess." They walked toward the house in silence until finally V couldn't take it anymore. "We're did you go?" Princeton stopped And removed his shirt revealing his toned abs and the letters VS large Nd in cursive on the left Side of his chest. "Omg you didn't !" He just smiled and put his shirt back on. "Look, your a nice guy but I'm not committed to this thing we have here. It's been only an hour since me and Roc split and technically we haven't broken up yet. What if we get bac-"

"Don't worry about that." Prince said cutting her off. "Just flow with it."

"But priiiince." Venus whined. "I don't want you to get deep into this and it doesn't go your way. Then you'll be stuck with my initials on your heart."

"I can always cover it with something." He reasoned. "Besides, you'll always have a special place in my heart. Cuz when I look into your eyes that shine like the moon. I long for you to be near me. I pray real soon. And when you pass by and we accidentally touch. The sparks start to fly because I love you so much. You think this is crazy, so soon to fall. But I loved you at first sight. I never questioned it at all. Don't be so quick to say you and make feel like a chump. Because in order to fall, you gotta take that jump." Venus smiled at the poem prince recited. "Will you jump for me?" He asked looking in her eyes.

"You're too sweet." She laughed throwing her arms around him. They hugged on the sidewalk.

(Meanwhile at the house)

"I can't believe this shit." Roc said out loud at he paced around his room think about the days events. "Why is she doing this to me? This is between her and ray. I'm not about to lose my girl because Tay can't control her man. Oh no, I be damned if I lose my number one to Princeton! That ol Hispanic player is gonna break her heart. She's not built for his lifestyle. Shoot I live the same lifestyle as him." He rambled on and on until a knock on the door interrupted his thoughts.

"Can I come in?" Maya asked walking into his room.

"Too late to ask now." He said and sat on the bed. Maya sat on the bed next to him and jump right into it.

"I know why Tay spread those lies." She began "me and Ray were in my room kissing and I was leaning against the wall. Well I accidentally intercomed to his room and Tay heard everything. Now she wants revenge and she's not going to stop until she gets it. "

"Umm first of all...TMi!!!" Roc said with a disgusted look on his face. "And two, what does that have to do with me.?"

"She's turning best friends against best friends." She clarified. "She knows you are the closest to Ray and that V is my best friend."

"That's not my problem though. I am not letting this come between us! "Roc started yelling in some foreign language.

"Okay Roc calm down." Maya screamed. He stopped talking and sat down. "Were you speaking French?"

"Uhhh yeah my bad." He said.

"Nah it's cool." She sAid. "But we gotta fix this."

"I know man I can't live without V. I'm a mess without her." Roc let a tear roll down his cheek. At that moment Maya could tell that he really loved Venus.

"Cheer up. We'll fix this."she sympathized. Roc nodded and smiled. He looked up at her.

"You better get outta here before the think we having sex or something." He laughed. Maya pushed him playfully and stood up. She walked to the door .

"Keep your head up baby bro." She smiled as she walked out.
