i cant help but stare

Tyler POV
Its been 2 months since i told josh i didn't like him.
Now josh has a boyfriend.
Now josh doesn't hang out with me as much.
He hardly even texts me.
Now that josh isn't really around i realize that I might actually like him.
Ive come to terms with the fact that i am bisexual. Ive also cime to terms with the fact that i have a major crush on Joshua dun.
I take out my phone to text josh.
My lockscreen is a picture of us. I smile at the memory.
Tyler: yo yo yo wanna hang out ?
Jishwa : nah im with cody rn
Tyler: he can hang too? ;-;
Jiswa : um idk
Tyler: sorry for asking ig
Read 4:10 pm
I sigh and toss my phone on the bed. It bounces off and hits the wall, falling in between my bed and the wall.
"Fuck" i yell in frustration
I hate my life.
Literally.
I dont even bother fishing my phone out.
I just sit there and cry.
This is why josh left. You're such a crybaby.
Youre not good enough for him anyway.
He'll come crawling back when that dickbag breaks up with him and you'll let him because you are weak.

I wake up at around 5:30 am, shower, get dressed, then i sat and debated weather i should text josh and ask if he needs a ride or not.
I decide to go ahead and ask.
Tyler: im up early you need a ride or w.e
Jishwa : sure.
I drive down a few blocks to josh's house.
Josh steps out of the door and i melt.
I havent really seen him in a while since he moved seats in 1st hour to sit with fucking Cody.
He sits next to me. Its so awkward.
There is so much tension i could cut it with a knife.
"Umm yeah." I say
"Mhm"
" we havent talked in a while"
"Yup" he scratches the back of his neck avoiding eye contact.
"Are we still like yenno.. Friends?"
"Yes of course, Why wouldnt we be?"
"Well i dont know you seem to ingn-- never mind its dumb yeah sorry for asking"
"Dont be sorry. Im just a lil preoccupied with Cody thats all."
"How are things with you and him anyway?"
"Not so good"
"How so"
"Lets talk in first hour ok?"
he says hopping out of the car (pls dont hop out of cars i beg)
I follow after parking the car.
He sits next to me and continues with the conversation from the car.
"Things were great at first but he's getting controlling, well he's been controlling i just never noticed. Its unhealthy. Tbh i think maybe i just wanted to get my mind off---" he stops mid-sentence.
"So are you gonna break up with him?"
"Yeah"
"And he's not violent?"
"Ty, hes the wimpiest kid in the school"
Josh continues on with the class while my eyes are locked on him.
