A/N: I'm sorry that it's been so long since I last updated, but around Halloween, I got this random idea to start working on a megachapter for this story. So I did, and I completely neglected Wattpad while I was at it. (I worked using my Notes app, then copied and pasted pretty much this entire chapter onto here.) So here it is, this one big, fabulous chapter, and from now on, chapters will update much quicker. Happy Christmahannukwanzakas! -Eris
The following day, I went to Gabe's house, just to see how he was doing. As I knocked on the door, I heard someone shout,
"AAAAAH! IT'S SLENDERMAN! LEO, FOR GOD'S SAKE, RUUUUUNNNN!"
"No," Leo responded, "I'm dead. If you see Slendy, you're dead. Or at least, that's how it works for me. But I'm bad at horror games, and you know that. The doorbell rang, by the way. You might want to go get the door."
"No," the first guy, who I had figured was Braken whined, "It's probably Slendy. I don't want to face Slendy. You go do it."
"Fine," Leo sighed. I casually tapped my foot as the door opened. Leo waved to me and exclaimed,
"Oh, hey Jessica! Sorry to keep you waiting, but..."
"AAAAAAAAAHHHHH!!!!" someone screamed, "IT'S THE CRAZY TRISTAM FANGIRL... AGAIN!!!"
Fiji, who was still wearing the paper bag over his head, leaped in front of Leo and fiercely asked,
"What do you want? No, he's not giving out autographs, no, he's not marrying you, and no, he will not serenade you with his smooth and gorgeous voice."
I rolled my eyes and said,
"I just came here to see Gabe. He's in trouble with the Irish Mafia."
Leo groaned.
"Again? I told him to stop getting in trouble with the mafia of other countries! GABE? Come in, Jessica. GABE? GABE!"
I stepped inside as he headed up the stairs, still calling Gabe's name. Fiji waved and exclaimed,
"Hi Jess! How's your life been going?"
I shrugged.
"Life-like, I guess. How's your's?"
"I don't know, I have a paper bag over my head. But if I'm guessing, I'd say it's good. Wait a second..."
He quickly reached up and took the bag off of his head. He blinked a few times and muttered,
"The real world is bright. Can someone dim this?"
"This isn't a video game," someone said. I peered behind Fij and looked into the living room. There were a few guys lounging around, some of which I recognized from the previous day, and others that I noticed from the Monstercat website. Braken was doing something on his laptop, and he glanced up and shyly waved. Besides him, there was Nitro Fun, Grabbitz, and Monstercat. I suddenly got the same feeling that I had gotten in the basement the previous day - one of nervousness, and slight dread. Grabbitz looked up at me, then scooted over on the couch.
"Sit next to me," he said, "Almost everyone knows that being within five feet of Fiji always leads to strange circumstances."
"You can say that again!" I exclaimed. Grabbitz nodded and repeated,
"Almost everyone knows that being within five feet of Fiji always leads to strange circumstances. Oh, and, uh, my name's Grabbitz."
"But it's not his real name," Nitro added, "It's his... uh... gamertag on a lot of video games."
