A/N: DilumiStories suggested that I put more illustrations/songs in the upcoming chapters, so here's 'effort to incorporate media' #1 of who-knows-how-many-tries! I chose 'WiFi Tears' because I listened to that song on loop repeated times while working on this, (and I was crying as my WiFi was being slow and annoying). I also listened to 'Sacred Woods' a lot, but there's going to be another chapter where I'll be using 'Sacred Woods'. There will be more stuff, but unfortunately, when I was writing this story, I got an iPhone, and stopped using my iPod, which was where most of the pictures that inspired me were. Those pictures are now on a hard drive somewhere, which I'll be looking for over the next week or so. When I get that hard drive, there will be so many pictures, you're probably going to start asking for me to actually write stuff again! XD Also, sorry for the cringeworthy Author's Note, NECAP (more standardized testing) started today, and I cannot brain, because I am having the dumbs.

Don't you hate those days where it seems like life is just throwing one weird thing after another like you? On the same day that Gabe grew his wings, and I learned that half of the musicians on Monstercat are either psychotic or own weapons of some form, and the day that Spinnin' and UFK invaded, more stuff happened. It all started late at night, when my parents were eating dinner at some fancy restaurant, and my little brother was in the basement, playing a video game. I was relaxing up in my room, listening to music, and reading a manga book. As I flipped through the pages, I started to notice something a little off. Every time I turned the page, the scenes would seem to be in colour, despite the fact that the book was printed in black and white. And it wasn't just random colour, either. It looked like someone had actually gone, and made the entire book in colour. Then the colour completely disappeared.

"That's odd," I muttered, repeatedly flipping back and forth between the pages, "How is this... this doesn't make... X? You there?"

If all else fails when you're trying to understand a confusing thing, call the shadowy demon thing that is kind of your friend.

It took all of three seconds for me to get an answer, which was given in the form of a book suddenly thrown straight at my face.

"I has arrived!" the familiar voice of X called out after I had dodged the flying book. I sighed, and asked,

"Hey, do you know what's going on with me? I keep on seeing colour illustrations in a book that's supposed to have been printed in black and white. It doesn't make sense, because I've read this a thousand times, but only now am I seeing colour."

"Uh..." X slowly muttered, "Maybe... uh... let me see your eyes for a second."

"Sure..." I slowly said, giving him a strange look. X moved towards me, staring at my eyes. After a moment, he muttered,

"Huh... I didn't think that this would start so soon."

"What would?" I nervously asked, "What's going on? Am I alright? Why were you looking at my eyes?"

"Just relax," X reassured me, "You're going to be alright. But... your powers are going to come out. Whenever Glitches get their powers, the first sign that it's going to end up happening is the seeing of colours where there shouldn't be any. Oh, and your eyes turn a different colour, which looks really cool. Your eyes are purple. I like purple. It's a cool colour. Anyways, you usually get the full powers within two hours. Let's hope that Shawn doesn't run up here. He will get majorly creeped out, because sometimes it looks like Glitches who are going through the power thing sort of look like they're possessed by demons. So... just... relax. That's all the advice I can give you for now. And no matter what happens, you'll be fine. You might see things that scare you, but it's like a movie. Nothing can reach out and harm you. This path is one that you can't turn back from. But don't worry, you're not going to die. There's only a five percent chance of that happening. I think I've said this twice, but I'll say it again. Relax. You tend to overthink things. Start to underthink, for once. Enjoy experiencing the closest you'll ever get to being on drugs! "
