A/N: I'M BACK!!! WOO!!! I'm probably way more excited about this than anyone else is, but whatever. So, I just wanted to say thanks to everyone who... sent kind wishes. I think that's the right word. I can't really brain today, I has the dumb. So yeah. Thanks. A lot. ^-^ The last few weeks were fairly hard-ish, in the way that I felt like an absolute zombie that had no purpose in life, but that could have been because of the fact that school's almost out. But back to my point, before I go off on a rant about how INCREDIBLY STUPID it is that I'm not out of school yet. So... I just want to thank people who understood why I left, or who said something nice. I can't express in words how much that meant. Honestly, I want to give huge hugs to everyone, but I can't, so I'll just send virtual hugs to everyone.
I've also used the word 'I' too many times. So... was there supposed to be something else in this chapter besides the Author's Note? Uh... let's see... maybe the story? Oh, no, no, no. That would be ridiculous. Who puts actual chapters in stories? Psssshhhh...
Oh, hey, wait, there is an actual chapter down there.
I should probably let you read it.
Or not.
But seriously though, here's the story and stuff.
Happy summer, everyone!
^-^
(Also, the song 'Spheres' has nothing to do with the chapter, I just really liked the sound of it, and listened to it over and over and over and over and over, etc. while writing this.)
-ErisAs soon as we got upstairs, Kevin left to get the sushi, and everyone else went upstairs to the studios.
"Are we all going to meet in a studio or something?" Leo asked, "Or are we just all going our sad, separate ways into the worlds of loneliness which we all eventually draw into?"
"I don't know, I want to work on a new track," Seven said, stretching out his hands (he had gone back into his human form). Karma shrugged and said,
"You and Braken can hang out in my studio, unless you're working on something. My little Echo child who is also known as Jessica, are you working on anything?"
I shook my head and replied,
"No. I'm currently just... thinking. Planning. Plotting. Attempting to steal all of your stuff without you noticing... ah, I mean, being normal!"
Leo grinned, and rolled his eyes. He patted me on the head, then exclaimed,
"So, let's go to Karma's magical land of studio...ish...ness!"
"Studioishness?" Braken asked, "Good English, Leo. Real good English."
Leo sweetly smiled and asked,
"What, is me the word not good for you?"
"Eh?" everyone asked, sounding really confused. Leo shook his head and mumbled,
"Never mind, I actually forgot what I was trying to get at."
Leo, Braken, Karma and I then headed into Karma and I's studio, while everyone else went their own separate ways.
"Ah..." Leo sighed, flopping down on the couch and closing his eyes, "I'm feeling really lazy. But, like, a magical kind of lazy."
"Is there a difference?" I asked, sitting down next to him. He nodded and replied,
"Yeah. Regular lazy is just not wanting to do anything. Magical lazy is when you don't want to do anything without the aid of magic. Let me demonstrate. Karma, do you have any watermelon in here, by any chance, and if you do, could I have some?"
"Oh, that's so magical," I sarcastically muttered as Karma replied,
"Yes, I do have watermelon, because I know you enough to know that you're strange and don't eat meat like the rest of us! It's in the fridge."
