For the remainder of that day, and most of the next, we travelled. Thankfully, nothing strange actually happened after the first day. Well, the tiny dragon was still with us, but other than that, nothing. I honestly thought he'd go back to his herd of other tiny dragons, but he didn't. Surprisingly, nobody besides Karma, Braken, and Veela noticed him. Either that, or Mike, Varien, and Haywyre are masters of ignoring really weird stuff. Whichever one it was, the dragon did not leave me alone. By the time we were approaching Vancouver, and the skyline was in our vision, I had stopped having a mini heart attack every time I looked in some direction and saw a dragon.

"I kind of like this little guy," I said, stroking the dragon's back. Karma, who was driving, (for the entire trip, nobody else drove, just her), smiled, and asked,

"Are you going to name him? Or is 'Little Guy' his name?"

I shrugged.

"I might name him... I'm pretty sure it's a him," I replied, "And I don't know what his name is. But I do know that he kind of looks like a Chinese dragon, so to Google Translate we go to see what his name will be!"

"Name him after a sword," Braken suggested, "Or after a highly destructive force! Oh, or death itself! I like destructive stuff!"

"Ahem, cinnamon bun," Veela said, tapping him on the shoulder, "Under Monstercat law, you are not allowed to like destructive stuff. The fanbase, also known as the family, deems you too cute for that kind of stuff, despite the fact that they have never seen your face."

Braken frowned, then softly mumbled,

"But I like destructive stuff. I like blowing stuff up. I like breaking stuff."

"Then become friends with Muzzy and Michael from the Pegboard Nerds," Karma said, "Also, we really have a lot of repeated names in Monstercat. Remember that one time when Seven Minutes Dead, Protostar, Aero Chord, and Alex from the Pegboard Nerds were all in the same room, and Mike came in and was like, 'hey, can I see Alex for a moment', and they all stood up?"

"Oh yeah!" Braken laughed, "And then remember how Mike was like, 'no, not all of you, that Alex', and all of them sat down, and he didn't even bother to specify who it was until he got the Alex he was looking for? I wonder why."

Veela shrugged and replied,

"It wasn't an urgent thing. He had plenty of time to mess around with them. Mike is a cool CEO."

"Back in NH, I knew a Mike who was a CEO," I said, "Even more ironically, it was at the place where I took piano lessons. Also, he was awesome! He taught me how to produce EDM in the first place!"

"Alright, it's official, anybody named Mike is a cool person!" Karma exclaimed. I smiled, then asked,

"Hey, do you know how much more time we have until we get back to HQ?"

"Uh..." Karma leaned over and looked at the GPS, "...fifteen more minutes. Of course, we have to factor in traffic lights and all that stuff. If we're lucky, though, fifteen minutes. Oh, and if we do some street racing, which I have totally never done before, we'll get there in five to ten."

I turned to Braken and Veela and asked,

"Is she being serious about the 'never having done street racing'? I feel like she's a street racing kind of person."

"Yes, I have done street racing!" Karma proudly said, "The police never caught me! Everything is fine, as long as you don't get caught."

"You are such a bad example to children," I softly said. Karma shrugged, then said,

"If I told you everything I've done, you wouldn't want to be riding in the same car with me. Being an MI supersoldier does not give you a nice backstory. Although I suppose I'm really a different person now. Experiment MISRS56B970M435K952 is gone now."
