Adventures: a Monstercat Fanfic

Announcement Part 2

Haha guess who's back! There is one (1) good part of quarantine, and that's "renewed motivation to finish your abandoned works!"

So, Adventures is coming back, and I'm working as hard as I can to make sure that I don't just update one chapter, and then leave it off. There were 3-5 chapters left in the book, and I'm going to finish those 3-5 chapters. That's a promise, although there will be some slight changes.

For starters, I'm getting rid of Traken. As I've grown older, I've kind of realized that shipping Actual Human People is... weird? And I think, at the time, I wrote Traken as a way to fulfill my underlying need to have gay relationships, without making them... lesbians? It's a really weird thing, and I don't want to start philosophizing, but basically:

Not doing Traken because maturity has caused me to realize that they are Actual Real Live Human People.

Also also, in changes to the story, the next part's going to get real dark, real fast, which I had already been planning on far before I ended the last chapter, but it might seem fairly jarring to some of you who may have left off this story thinking "oh hey, Adventures! that's the lighthearted one where everyone's happy and full of joy!" and then you come back and you're like "oh man, what happened here?" 

So yeah, there's my announcement. I'm sorry that the quality for this sucks, but unfortunately, I've forgotten how to write announcements, so there's that. If this was kind of confusing and all over the place (which it probably is, since I've been writing this in between classwork and other things), I'm going to summarize it so you know which information is important:

-The story's going to get a lot darker (going to add some TWs at the end for what you should be aware of going into the next chapter)

-Traken is no more, but fear not, Leo and Braken are still Homies, and will always be Homies, so there's that.

-That's it (I think?)

So, for the TWs that you should be aware of, we have:

heave implications of death

I'm sorry for how painfully bolded I made those but please, please be aware if one of those is a trigger, because I don't want to hurt anyone. <3 

Peacing out for now, will be back from anywhere between 1 hour and 3 days!
