It was now Saturday morning, Lauren had just woken up. She walked to the restroom and washed her face and brushed her teeth. She changed into some ripped jeans along with a black and white crop top and her favorite boots.
She applied eyeliner and combed her hair and sprayed some perfume. She finally opened her door and walked out of her room, she looked inside Ally's room and saw her bed made.
"I guess she's awake." Lauren thought as she continued walking to the living room.
"Oh hey. Good morning, sleepy head." Ally said smiling at Lauren. "Good morning Ally, what time did you wake up?" Lauren asked shyly laughing, "I've been awake since 8:30, I wake up early." Ally laughed.
"I must've been knocked out," Lauren laughed, "Anyways are you ready to go eat?" Lauren asked. "Yes! I've been ready." Ally said as she walked toward the door.
"Waffle house is down the street so it won't be a long drive." Lauren said as they were walking down the stairs. "That's a good thing, I woke up early so I am starving."
They got inside of Laurens car and drove to Waffle house, neither of them spoke on the way, but it wasn't awkward, they just listened to the radio.
"We are here!" Lauren said as she parked the car, Ally laughed "Wow you really weren't kidding when you said it was down the street." Lauren smiled at Ally and got off the car, "I can already smell the food." Ally smiled as Lauren held the door for her.
They sat in a booth near the window, "What can I get you two ladies to drink?" the waitress asked, "Orange juice, please." Lauren said as she started flipping through the menu "Just a water, please." Ally said. "Okay I'll be right back with your drinks."
Lauren noticed Ally starring at her "Um, the menu is right ther, Ally." Lauren said laughing. "Oh I know, but I already know what I want." Ally said smiling at Lauren.
Lauren smiled, "What do you want?" she asked, "I want a bacon, egg and cheese sandwich on Texas toast with a side of hash browns!" Ally said smirking at Lauren. "Oh, wow. Okay I'll get the same thing as you then, it sounds good." Lauren laughed setting the menu back down.
"Here's your Orange juice and here is your water. Are you two ready to order?" the young waitress asked. "Yes we are, go first Ally." Lauren said as she and Ally smiled at one another. "Okay, well we'd both like the bacon, egg and cheese sandwich on Texas toast and a side of hash browns. And do you want anything else?" Ally asked Lauren.
"No, that's all." Lauren said as she handed the menus to the young waitress. "Okay, your order will be out shortly, let me know if you ladies need anything."
Lauren turned and smiled at Ally, "Hm, well tell me a little bit about yourself, that's why we came, right?" Lauren said laughing. Ally smiled nervously, "Well, I moved here from Texas. I'm 20. I-I don't know, what do you wanna know about me?" Ally asked shyly.
Lauren laughed, "Um well lets see, why did you move here for?"
Ally frowned, "Well my dad and I had some problems. We just stopped getting along, and I needed some space. I didn't want to move but I didn't like arguing with my dad all the time, ya know?" Lauren frowned all Ally's words "I don't want to sound like a bitch or anything, but why didn't you just move out and stay in the city that you lived in? I mean your mom an-"
Ally put her head down "I don't know.. I just, I needed a fresh start. And my mom? My mom is sick, it was hard seeing her like that and her face when I told her I was leaving it jus-" Ally paused trying not to cry. Lauren stood up and walked to the other side of the booth to give Ally a hug,
"Listen Ally, I'm sorry I asked, I'm sure your mom understands, now don't cry. I don't want you to be upset anymore, I'm just glad your fresh start brought you to Miami cause I think we will become really close. I hope we do. Now, don't cry anymore cause look, our food is coming." Lauren laughs.
Ally smiled and hugged Lauren really tight, "You're right, I'm good now." Ally quickly smiled. Lauren couldn't help but smile at Ally, Lauren knew very little about Ally but she felt she already knew everything about her.
Lauren stood up and went to the other side of the booth, they thanked the waitress and started digging into their food. "Wow, Ally, this is soo good, I can't believe I never ate here." Ally smiled "I know I love Waffle House so so much, but, hey, tell me a little bit about you."
Lauren laughed, "Okay, well my name is Lauren, I am 19, I love music and, um yeah I don't know this is harder than I thought." Ally and Lauren smiled, "How is college?" Ally asked trying to keep the conversation going, "It's pretty good. There's this girl named Camila in my class, I really kind of like her but she's so complicated." Lauren laughs.
"Complicated?" Ally said confusingly, "Yeah, one minute she loves me for who I am and then the next she just wants me for my body." Lauren sighed. "If someone treats you like that, I think you should look for something better. Know your worth and all, you know?" Ally said before she took a drink of her water.
"Yeah, I don't know. I feel like it's so much to deal with." Lauren laughed, "Well, I'm sure you'll find someone you want to be with soon." Ally smiled. "Maybe you're right." Lauren giggled. "So what kind of music do you listen to? What artists?" Ally asked.
"Lana. Halsey. Alessia." Lauren answered, "I love Halsey." Ally smiled, "Who do you like listening to?" Lauren asked, "I like Sam Smith, Adele, Selena Quintanilla. I like all kind of music." Ally smiled.
"Ah, I am so full." Ally said rubbing her stomach "Me too, do you want to just go to the house and watch some movies?" Lauren asked smiling at Ally.
"Yeah, I am kind of tired now." Ally answered, "Okay, but don't fall asleep on me." Lauren joked as she stood up to pay.
"Oh, Lauren, here I have a few dollars right here." Ally said as she dug in her purse to find some money. "Hey, I gotcha, don't worry about it." Ally smiled and gave Lauren a hug "You are so sweet! I'm gonna go outside okay love?" Ally said as she walked out the door.
Lauren couldn't stop smiling she kept thinking about how cute Ally was, she was excited to spend the day with Ally, but she couldn't wait to tell Normani and Dinah everything.
