They all sat at the dinner table sharing stories with one another, Ally was relieved that her and her dad made things right and Lauren could see the happiness in Ally's eyes.
"Okay, so um, wheres brother?" Ally asked.
"He is at work, he should be back tonight." Patricia says, "He doesn't know you're here, either." Jerry mentions.
They continued to eat and talk, then, Laurens phone vibrated 2 times, "Who is that?" Ally asks. "Probably my mom or dad." Lauren says nervously as she slides her phone back into her pocket.
"You aren't going to reply?" Patricia asks. "No, they can wait. I'm eating and it's very rude to text while at the table eating with others." Lauren says trying not to be so nervous.
buzz buzz buzz buzz
"Lauren," Ally says "How do you not know if it's an emergency just step into the hallway babe." Ally says frustratingly.
Lauren stands up and pushes her chair in. She walks to the hallway, and unlocks her phone only to see 1 missed call from Camila and 2 text messages from her.
She dials Camilas number and calls to tell her to stop.
phone call:
Lauren: Camila! Stop it.
Camila: No Lauren I have an idea and you will probably like it.
Lauren: What is it?
Camila: when you and, um, whats her name?-
Lauren: Ally?
Camila: Ally yes, um when you guys come back maybe we can hang out and fix this mess.
Lauren: I don't know. Ally doesn't forgive people easily.
Camila: Oh yeaaah, but babe, even if she doesn't forgive me, me and youuu can work things out.
Lauren: Camila shut up. Don't call me babe.
Camila: Why are you whispering?
Lauren: Because I am having dinner with her family and YOU keep bugging me and making them suspicious.
Camila: Oh, ohhhh well I really did think this through and-

"Lauren?" Ally says quietly.
"Yeaah babe??" Lauren says nervously as she puts her phone down.
"Who are you talking to?" Ally asks.
"Just my sister, she's upset that I didn't tell her I was coming. Hold on." Lauren says placing the phone back to her ear.
Lauren: Okay Taylor, I'm sorry, I love you, tell mom and dad I love them and Chris bye.
Camila: Wait wh-

"Listen Lauren, I don't know what it is bothering you, but I really want you to know that you can always talk to me." Ally says walking back to the dinner table.
Lauren stands there in guilt. Should she or should she not tell Ally?
Lauren wasn't good at hiding things, she would eventually tell Ally but as for now it was her biggest secret.
Lauren walks back to the dinner table and sits down quietly. Ally can't help but stare at Lauren, she knew something was wrong.
"Mom, me and Lauren are exhausted, Well I am, I'm gonna go lay down in my room okay?" Ally says standing up, "Yeah I am exhausted as well, thank you for the amazing dinner."
