Stacy shuffled into the house at four, too tired to be quiet, she left her purse and the car keys on the table by the door before slipping up to her room. As much as she wanted to shower off the bar she was more interested in bed. She kicked off her shoes and dropped her jacket on the floor before she collapsed onto her bed and was out like a light.

When her eyes opened it was to a different setting. Instead of in a bedroom, she found herself standing in a field of knee high grass. The sun shone brightly overhead causing her to lift her hand so she could look around. She practically jumped out of her skin when the soft sounds of a piano filled the air. A large tree to her left beckoned to join it's shady underbelly as it swayed a little. She was surprised to find a picnic waiting for her as she grew closer.

"How'd your date go?" Stacy gasped and spun so fast her feet caught and she started to topple backwards. Her arms cart wheeled trying to keep herself upright. Only the arm steeling around her waist kept her from falling. Her eyes met ice blue ones, her breath leaving her at how close they stood.

"It was delightful." she managed when she'd come back to her senses. "We're thinking about another date actually."

A slow smirk spread as Lucas leaned in a little closer. "Really? Then why are Daniel and Megan making plans for tomorrow?"

Stacy cursed and started to push at him until he finally let her go and stepped back from her. "You're such a damn asshat." she muttered, frowning when she realized she wore a white sundress with sunflowers patterned on it.

"I'm not the one wearing a hat." he said teasingly as he dropped a yellow straw hat onto her head. "You burn easy, keep that on."

Stacy glanced at him as she snatched the hat off. "First, this is a dream, I won't burn. And second, how do you know I burn easy?"

"Because I know everything about you and you keep telling yourself this is a dream. You might believe it." he smiled as he steered her toward the blanket.

"What do you mean? Of course this is a dream. Why wouldn't it be?"

"You know succubi and incubi enter dreams to feed on peoples desires. But what they really do at one point is drag someone into their realm making their feelings more intense and more involved. So basically their dream for that moment in time becomes.."

"Give me the sunscreen." Stacy said as she reached out for the sunscreen Lucas had been holding. She let out a sigh when he pulled it out of her reach.

"I'll apply it to make sure you get everything covered."

"I can do it. I don't need you to do it for me." she said with a small frown, not liking the thought of him touching her so intimately.

"Oh, but I'm offering." he'd already popped the cap and was getting sunscreen from the tube. Stacy watched him with a glare as he started to apply it. She looked away when he reached her shoulders. When he was done she stepped away and shifted a little closer to the picnic.

"Why're you doing all this?" she asked as she turned toward him with a frown. It was so hard to trust him after everything. And even weirder for her when he was actually being nice to her.

"I figure with the way everything has been going I owe you. Slow down and be friends." he motioned for her to sit before sitting next to her and started to unpack the basket. Stacy almost drooled at the sight of the food. She hadn't really eaten since lunch and even then she hadn't eaten. Only a snack at each of her breaks. She'd been too damn tired to eat when she'd gotten home.
