It had been a long four months since that day in the park. True to words, the angels had cleaned up the whole mess claiming it was for a movie being filmed. They'd even had the church rebuilt and placed Allen and his new angel mentor, Ezekiel, as its Priests.
Megan of course hadn't been there for any of it. When Daniel had been able to walk they'd managed to find a phone and call the dragons. Allen was left at the then ruined church, but only because the attached church house had made it out surprisingly intact. The dragons had taken Megan and Daniel back to the Dragolands after that. Unable to really sit down and talk, it'd been hours before Megan found out Daniel remembered her and had only lost the time from outside the church to waking in the park. Suffice it to say, Megan had burst into tears and sobbed into Daniel's chest.
After four days of rest they'd decided it was time to return to the middle plain to see a more than likely worried Stacy. Megan stepped up to the door, Daniel close behind and reached out to knock on Monika and Frank's door. A small laugh left her when the door jerked open and Stacy pulled her into a bear hug. "Thank the gods you're okay." Stacy breathed before pulling back to look her over to double check.
"How's Xavier?" Megan asked as they moved into the living room, eyes scanning for the teen.
"He's in school. Don't worry," Stacy added when Megan and Daniel shot her worried looks. "He's been very good. We found someone, another Fae, who gave him an enchanted necklace. It curbs his ...gift. He won't be able to use his powers so long as he wears it. Or well, I guess effect anyone while he does."
Megan and Daniel stood stunned. "How'd..."
"Lucas knows a lot of people." Stacy sat next to Lucas on the couch, smiling as she took his head.
"Where's Monika and Frank? Briar?" Megan asked as she looked around, settling on the small loveseat with Daniel.
"Briar is upstairs. Mom and Dad decided to take a weekend trip. Though...Mom's already called six times and Dad's called about twenty. They left yesterday morning and we have a little bet going that they'll be home sometime today."
Megan nodded, giving a small laugh as she leaned into Daniel a little. "Where've you been for four months?" Lucas asked, surprising everyone. "Well, Allen reappeared. He came by to apologize. He's getting along with the family now and told everyone what happened. Well, except where you two went since he didn't know."
"We went to the Dragolands to recover. I forgot, again, that time passes differently there. Actually," Megan hesitated, looking at Daniel when he took her hand. "We've decided to stay there. Because time passes slower Daniel won't age the same. We could essentially live there forever together. We only came back to see if Xaiver wants to come and of course to say goodbye."
Stacy blinked in surprise. "W-what? But...you can't come for visits? Will we really never see you again?"
Megan smiled. "We'll try and come, but it could be years."
Stacy instantly started to tear up, sniffling a little as she wiped at her eyes and looked away. "Xavier won't go." Lucas said as he pulled Stacy into his side and kissed the top of her head. "He's quite taken with someone here."
Megan gave a nod, frowning at Stacy. "Stacy, you're not usually like this. You didn't even cry when you left for the ci...ty..." Megan gasped as she jumped to her feet. "Are you pregnant?"
Stacy gave a small laugh as she finished wiping away her tears. "We found out last week. We haven't told anyone yet."
"Oh gods. Stacy!" Megan pulled her up from the couch and into a hug.
"Congratulations." Daniel smiled as he stood next to Megan, shaking Lucas' hand.
"We weren't exactly trying. It just sort of happened. But we're still happy."
"Of course. I'll make sure to come back for that. We'll stay for however long we have to." Megan smiled as she pulled back a little. "Stacy, I'm so glad you're part of my family." Megan touched Stacy's cheek when she started to cry again. "We'll come back before you know it, okay? We just have some stuff to settle," Megan smiled as she turned toward Lucas. "Well, now that you're not a demon lord you can at least focus on protecting her and being a kickass father."
Stacy and Lucas stared at her in confusion. "What do you mean? I still rule over Lust." Lucas said, his confusion obvious in his voice.
"But Mal...Morningstar said...that rat. Who's ruling Mammon's kingdom?"
"Some newly psychotic fallen who's intent on killing every demon who enters his kingdom. All the demons have been fleeing to the other kingdoms. We were going to complain to Morningstar, but honestly this guy is better than Mammon. So long as he stays out of our kingdoms, the other rulers and I have agreed to just let it go."
"I see." Megan shook her head, pulling Stacy into a hug. "Well, we better go. We're meeting with a realtor to sell our townhomes and settle some other stuff."
"Of course," Stacy stepped up to hug Daniel when he stood. "At least our blind date worked out." She whispered to him, both laughing as they stepped back.
Lucas stepped up and shook Daniel's hand before walking them to the door. "Tell Xavier we said hello. And that we're happy he found a place here. And if he wants to live with us we'll be back in a few months."
Stacy laughed as she waved, watching them move toward their rental. "They said he'd live longer in the Dragolands, but not technically forever like Megan could." Stacy whispered to Lucas as the car started to pull away.
"That's for them to figure out Stacy. It's their decision on what happens to them."
"Yes, but Megan's finally happy. Actually, honestly happy and I want her to stay that way."
"She will. She's already proven she'll do anything to keep him. She just needs to realize for herself that's the case."
"True." Inside she heard Briar start to cry upstairs. "Come on soon-to-be-Father, we should get you some actual baby practice." Stacy smiled as she started to nudge Lucas back inside, closing the door behind them.

It's finished! Honestly there's about two dozen side stories I want to write and of course I know there's still a couple things that were left open and they'll be addressed at one point. It's been a very long journey, but a fun one. I'm going to be taking a break from EWaD universe though and start another story that kinda spurred me to finish this. Don't think for a second you wont see these characters again though.
