One week later our anniversary came and I sighed knowing we're not actually married. The guy who married us wasn't a registered minister and I just found out a couple of years ago. I don't want to tell him, because he's going to leave again. I don't want him to leave again.
"Happy anniversary." He kissed in between my shoulder blades.
"H-happy-" I sighed and he looked puzzled. "Frankie what's wrong? Did I get the date wrong?' I shook my head. "No Gerard. It's just we're not-" I really did not want to tell him. I'm done with all of these secrets unfolding it's costing me too much.
"Come on Frankie, we have dinner reservations and the baby sitter is on her way." I don't want a babysitter watching my kid, too bad Mikey's not alive. But that's not something that needs dwelled on.
"Let's have my mom watch her." he said. I know how Donna feels about me, she's made it very clear and I don't want her watching my daughter.
-14 years ago-
"Gerard don't do this." Donna said. Don't do what? "He's not for you. He's a man. You can't marry a man. It's not too late to be with Lyn-Z. She's a lovely girl really."
"Mom! I hate her, she told me no one would ever love me."
"That's because your gay!" She yelled at him.
"Mom I want you to stay, but if you can't accept me leave!" At this point I wanted to slap her and the hold him. He's obviously not going to be with Lyn-Z. He loves me!
"Fine. Goodbye Gerard. And remember this, Frank is not an honest man. He's a liar Gerard. He's going to use you and lie to you and you'll be divorced within a couple of years. Just don't come crying to me when that happens! I won't care!" And she really did leave. I didn't think she would, but she did. Gerard started crying and I walked in from my place hidden behind the door and hugged him. "No you're not supposed to see me!" He yelled still crying.
"I'm sorry baby, I'm sorry your mom just left us." He nodded and cried against me.
-Present-
"Um no, my mom can." He sighed knowing my reasons why.
"Fine we'll drop her off on our way."
"Hey Gerard." I really was going to tell him, but then I looked at how beautiful he looked today. "You look amazing. Let's go." I grabbed Alice and walked to the car.

After dropping off Alice we made our way to the restaraunt, it was a really nice place. Inside it was lit up with all kinds of candles, which to me seemed hazardous, but I guess it's supposed to be romantic.
I looked at Gerard and he was smiling. "Frankie this is amazing!" He beamed and I nodded. "Yeah it is baby."
The waitor took us to our table and we order some champagne. "Frankie is something nbothering you?" He asked quietly.
Luckily the waitor returned with our champagne and asked what we wanted to eat. I ordered some spaghetti and Gerard laughed. "So it's just my spaghetti?" I nodded a little and he ordered Alfredo.
"Frankie what's bothering you?" He asked. "Do you miss Al?" I didn't really, before her mom died I only got to see her for about two hours a week, but now she lives with me, so no I don't miss her. "No not really."
"Then what's wrong?" I smiled and kissed his hand. "Nothing Gee."
Soon the waitor returned with our food and we ate it. The night was perfect, but Gerard knew something was wrong and on the way home he wouldn't let it go.
"Gee stop." I said quietly.
"Just tell me what's wrong Frank!" He yelled.
"We're not married!" I yelled.
"W-what?"
"I found out a couple of years ago. The guy who married us was fake."
"Then let's get married! Right now. Let's go to the courthouse."
"Not tonight." I wanted to know if he still would think that after he found out all of my secrets.
