Julie's P.O.V:
It's Saturday morning.
"I'm so glad it's Saturday! No work" I hop out of bed and open the shades. "Mmmm its such a beautiful day" I hear birds chirping and the sun is out. I slip on my slippers and walk down the stairs to the kitchen.
"Good morning sweetheart!" My mom smiles as I walk in.
"Mom?!" She giggles and serves me a waffle.
"I thought I would surprise you! I think you should change your spare key hiding spot" she beams with delight and hands me the whipped cream.
I laugh and spread the whipped cream all over my waffle.
"Well it sure was a surprise! How's Joel?" As I say so my little brother skips into the room.
"Here i am, here I am!" He hugs me tight then takes my waffle and eats it as he runs to hide behind mom.
" Hey! That's my waffle Joel!" I playfully say to him. He giggles and my mom hands me another waffle.
"haha, Joel it's not polite to take someone's food, you know that!"
He hangs his head, "I'm sorry Julie...." I smile at him and pat his head
"it's ok but next time just ask ok?" He looks at me and laughs
"OK!" He runs away giggling.
"Anyways, mom thanks for the surprise! How long will it be staying?" I ask.
"Well just for a few days since you're a big girl now and I wouldn't want to bother you too much." Hehe. Same old mom, always treating me like a child even though I'm already 22 years old.
