Unexpected love

Forgivness Part 26

Julie's P.O.V:

It's 7:40am and I'm done getting ready for Zach's 'forgiveness day' it's too early for this. He told me to be prepared, with a bathing suit but also with extra clothes for the rest of the day. I wonder where we are going.... I'm wearing a pink one piece bathing suit with an exposed back and an aqua sun dress over it.

I sigh and walk down to the kitchen. I spot the flowers that mystery guy gave me peeking out of the trash. Ugh I take them out and see a card sticking out. I gasp and take it out dropping the flowers back into the trash. I open the envelope and look at the writing, it reads:

Hey Julie...you probably hate me. Well I'm 100% sure you hate me, but that's ok because I love you and I will get you back. Sorry for being a jerk all those times I bumped into you.

I freeze. Staring at the writing. Jack? I continue reading:

I just don't know how to act around you. Anyways don't freak out. This is from Jack. Talk to you later. Bye.

I stand there shocked. He loves me? I scoff. I sit on the couch and press my finger to my temple. *ding dong* I set the letter on the table, I go to open the door and see Zach in a suit with flowers in his hands.

He smiles and I roll my eyes, giggling. I took the flowers and went to the kitchen to put them in a vase. I walk back to Zach and he's reading the letter. Oops. He glares at me with a frown on his face.

"Jack is the one that kissed you?" He looks at me I nod. "Did you know?" He asks me. I shake my head. He nods and throws it away angrily. I trail behind him, locking the door on our way out.

"Are you mad?" I ask

He shakes his head. "Not at you." He turns around and wraps his arms around me, hugging me. I smile but I can't let this be easy for him. He has to work hard if he wants to make everything up to me. I push him away and stride to his car. "One day." I shout. He chuckles and runs to open the passenger door for me. I thank him and sit down. He closes the door and walks to the other side, getting into the driver's seat.

"Ready for a day of fun and love?" He says. I laugh.

"Blow me away Romeo." I reply.

While we drive I look out the window. I heard clicks from the stereo and the song stitches by Shawn Mendez plays. I grin, this is my favorite song. I turn to him and he flashes me a smile. I giggle and start singing. He joins me after a while and we basically harmonize. After the song finishes black magic by little mix plays.

I sing at the top of my lungs while he laughs. We get to our destination and I peer out the window. All I see is some trees when a blindfold slips over my eyes. I smile. "No peeking." He whispers. I giggle and nod. He leads me holding my hand and shoulder to make sure I don't trip or bump into something. I step on some leaves as we walk then I step on sand. The beach?!

He takes off the blind fold and reveals two chairs on a blanket with a picnic basket between them. I look around and see an amazing beach. Golden sand, clear blue water, people surfing and kids playing in the sand. I try not to seem excited but I gasp at the beauty. I smile.

"I remembed that the beach is your favorite place, sunshine." He says walking past me and taking a seat in one of the chairs. I grin and sit on the chair next to him. I put on my sunglasses and look at Zach. He smiles at me and starts to unpack the basket. Red wine, sandwiches, cookies, soda, and GUMMY BEARS!

I laugh and reach for the bag of gummy bears. He grabs my hand and places a sandwich in it. I pout.

"Food first." He says. I roll my eyes and laugh take a bite of the sandwich.

"This is so good!" I exclaim. He laughs and I continue to eat. After I finish I read for the bag of gummy bears again and he places a cookie in my hand. I frown but eat the cookie. Yum. I reach again and he hands me soda. I set it down and grab the wine.

He laughs and I drink some while he finishes a cookie. I look at him and raise my eyebrow he laughs and hands me the bag of gummy bears. I grin and pop one into my mouth.

"Ready for a swim?" He asks and I nod. I slip off my dress, to reveal my bathing suit and run to the ocean.

He laughs, "hey wait for me!" He shouts, taking off his shirt. I giggle and run into the water. As soon as I touch it I freeze and Yelp.

"It's so cold!!" I scream and run back out. He laughs and picks me up from behind.
"Noooo it's too cold!!" I shout and he runs inside the water, carrying my in his arms. He doesn't let go of me until the water is up to my shoulders. My teeth chatter and he laughs hugging me. I hug him back and then jump on him causing us to fall into the water. He splashes around before pulling out of the water coughing and staring at me while I laughing at him. I shouldn't be laughing I swallowed a bunch of water too. I start coughing and he gently pats my back.

"What was that?!" He asks.

"A suicide mission." I reply. He laughs and picks me up throwing me gently into the water. I come up and splash him. We have a water fight and then go back to the chairs to dry off. I sit on the chair with the towel wrapped half way on me. He shakes his hair, wetting me.

"Jerk! You're like a dog!" I laugh and he smirks sitting back down and grabbing a cookie. It's 3:00pm now. He looks at his watch and jumps shoving stuff into the basket. I chuckle.

"What?" I ask. He looks at me and rubs the back of his neck.

"I messed up the schedule we are supposed to be somewhere else in 15 minutes" he explains while slipping his shirt back on. I giggle and walk into a near by changing room. I change out of my bathing suit and put on a red dress I brought in my bag. I slip into some black pumps and go to meet Zach by the car. He smiles when he sees me and opens the passenger door.

I step in and he slips the blindfold back over my eyes. I frown and groan. "Sorry gorgeous but it's a surprise." He chuckles and i slump down into the chair, close my eyes and wait.
