I hear my doorbell ding and the door open i walk down the steps to the first floor. Wow is this going to be another cliché? I step down slowly, careful not to trip and break the heels of these beautiful silver shoes. When i get halfway there i find Zach gazing at me.
Zachary's point of view:
I look up from talking to Julie's mom to find Julie halfway down the steps. There is only one word to describe how i felt: WOW. I smile at Julie and she blushes. I hold out my arm when she gets to the last step. Her mom squeals.
"Oh Julie! You look amazing! It's like prom all over again, but this time the guy is so much better!" She says. Julie rolls her eyes,
"Jack was a good guy mom! He just wasn't........a gentlemen." I stare at her and she whispers
"I'll tell you about it later ok?" I nod and her mom begs for a picture. I look at the camera and put my hand on Julie's back. She stiffens up and i chuckle. She looks at me and then looks at the camera. *click, click, click, click, click, click, click*"Mom!" Julie says through her smile. I laugh and her mom looks though the pictures.
"How about one of you two kissing?" She pleads. Wow if my mom was here, haha i hope she doesn't freak out when i introduce her to my girlfriend. Heh, i like the sound of that. Girlfriend, Julie is my girlfriend. Is it a little bit too soon to be dating her? I mean i met her 3 days ago.... but then again, we were best friends when we were little.
I remember having a crush on her. How i would comfort her when she was sad, how we would smile and play, but yet we never became more than friends. Yeah i want a picture of me kissing her. A memory of me finally becoming her boyfriend. Heh, I'm her boyfriend. I kiss her and her eyes widen in surprise *Click* Her eyes close after a bit and i just hold her. *Click, click, click, click*
We separate and her mom looks through the pictures.
"Can you send those to me, please?" I ask. She nods.
"Take good care of her, Zach." I nod and smile. "Im serious! If you hurt my little Julie, I swear i will come to your house in the middle of the night, tie you up to a chair, and torture you slowly, finally i will feed you broccoli and slit your throat." She smiles and goes to the living room.
I stare at Julie in disbelief. She giggles and holds my hand.
"You know she would totally do that." I flinch. She wraps her hand around my arm and leans on my shoulder.
"Shall we?" I ask her. She nods and i lead her out the door. Once we are out i hold the limo's door open for her. She hesitates but then steps in. I go inside after her and sit next to her. She looks nervous.
"Whats wrong?" I ask her. She looks at me and smiles nervously.
"Nothing i've just never been in a limo, It feels weird." I look at her and then down at my lap.
"You must think I'm a rich snob and that i was lying to you when i said i wanted to be normal..." She doesn't say anything. Great... "But i wasn't lying, sure being rich has it's perks like being able to spoil my girlfriend....but i'd give it up in a heartbeat and just work hard to get you those things."
I stare at her and then at her hand in my hand and notice how soft it is. Wow weirdo! I let go, rub the back of my neck and laugh nervously.
She puts her hand on my cheek and kisses me. I look at her and she holds my hand. You are so amazing, i say in my head. She smiles, her smile is so bright, she could save me from any sorrow i ever felt.
"I didn't think you were lying, thank you for being honest." She whispers. She leans her head on my shoulder and we stay like that for the rest of the ride, our hands intertwined and her head on my shoulder. Wow this is heaven. I smile to myself and squeeze her hand. This is so cheesy, I love it.
