Going home Part 7

Julie's P.O.V:

After the movie we walk out of the theater silently.

"Hey I'm really sorry, can we forget about what stupid me tried to do and go back to talking?" He stops me and pulls me into the corner of the hall. "Please?" He pleads.

I touch his arm lightly and laugh. " Of course, i was just a little surprised." I smile up at him. He nods at me and lets go of my hand. We start walking back to meet up with Stephanie and Kyle. We find them kissing at the front door!

"STEPHANIE?!" I squeak. Kyle and Stephanie pull apart and blush.

"Oh hey Julie!" She laugh nervously, i stand there in shock then burst out laughing. Zach joins me and we both crack up to the point of tears. Stephanie turns red and Kyle pulls her close and kisses her again. Her eyes widen in surprise. They pull away and me and Zach stand there in shock.

"There is absolutely nothing that we should be embarrassed about." He smiles at her and she smiles shyly.

"AWWWWWW" I run up to her and hug her tight. "He's totally right Steph sorry!"

She giggles and they end up leaving together. Wow i kind of feel jealous of her. Zach holds my hand and i look at him.

"Don't worry this is completely friendly!" I smile and squeeze his hand. "I'll walk you home." We walk outside and there's a limo waiting, i stare at it and the i look at Zach.

"Would you rather walk?" He looks at me and i eagerly say yes, i don't want to ride in a limo.....He smiles and tells the driver he will be walking, the driver tries to come with us but Zach tells him we will be ok.

He nods and drives the limo away. We start walking to my house and i start to shiver. He notices and wraps his coat around my arms. (wow how cliché) but yet it feels so warm. I cling onto his jacket and he puts his arm over my shoulder and pulls me closer.

"Totally and completely friendly." He whispers into my ear. My heart beats fast. Ok calm down! This is just a friendly move...right? I lean on his shoulder and we walk slowly.

"so hey what's your favorite color?" he asks. I chuckle.

"Blue. what's yours?" We look at each other. wow our faces are so close! I take my head off his shoulder and skip to the side-rail of the sidewalk we were walking on i stare out into the ocean, watching the colors of the midnight sky dancing in the reflection of the water. He walks over to me and grins.

"mine is blue too." He says and i snicker,

"Yeah right." i laugh.

"no seriously! i like the color teal, you know like blue mixed with green."

i smile "yeah i like that shade too." He's staring at me again! This time i don't look away, i keep staring out into the ocean.

"so can i ask you something?" he asks

"You just did" i say. He chuckles.

"yeah but i mean something serious..." I nod. "Why are you avoiding us?" I look at him.

"'us?'" i ask. He looks down

"Yeah...us... Come on, tell me you don't feel something between us.." I look down too and start walking. He trails behind me and takes my hand. I spin around and look at him. Wow there he goes again with his cute smile and amazing eyes.

I hold my breath. "Can i kiss you?" I stare at him, i roll my eyes and start to walk away. The nerve of this guy! trying to kiss me, then saying sorry and then asking to kiss me?! Well at lease he asked..... I can hear him silently walking behind me.

I turn around and look at him. He stops too and looks at me.

"sorry" he whispers. Ugh i can't take it anymore! he's so innocent and he's just too cute! I wrap my arms around his neck and kiss him. It lasts forever, just the two of us in the middle of the night with the stars shining above. We separate and smile at each other.

"This won't be easy... your mom won't approve" i whisper and look down. He lifts up my chin and kisses me again.

"I don't care what she says, i liked you, from the moment i met you and my mother can do nothing about that."

I smile (wow we smile a lot at each other...is that normal?)

"so when i spilled coffee all over you?" He laughs and nods. The moment is perfect, that is until it got darker and creepier....Haha i guess we should start walking now, and we do. Hand in hand.
