Drunk Part 25

Zachary's P.O.V:
I slump down in my room and reach for a bottle of beer. I sip it quietly as I think about Julie. I can't believe she cheated on me. I wonder who that son of a bitch was. He was wearing a mask, who knew she was into bad boys. Hmph... Well she did date that Jack dude.

I grab another beer after I finish the one I'm drinking. This is my 8th one....hehe feeling kind of dizzy, but it makes the pain go away so I smile and keep drinking. Slowly, I forget about Julie and stop thinking about my ex, Nichole. *Ding dong*

I hear my mom open the door and say hi to Kyle sending him up to my room. I glare at my bedroom door and take one more swing of my beer before Kyle walks in. "You smell like shit." He glares at me while grabbing a beer.

"Thanks." I huff.

"You are an idiot you know?" He say flicking my forehead. I rub it.

"Ouch. No need to hurt me prince doodle!" I shout. I replay the words in my head. wtf?

"Doodle?" He laughs.

"Shut up, this is my...ummm..." I count on my fingers. "8th drink!"

He chuckles and sits down. "Did you even listen to her?"

"Who?"

"You fucking idiot." He flashes me a glare.

"OHHH! Nichole? NOOO idiot she cheated on my after she said yes to my proposal! HAHAHHAHAHA I never saw her again. Hah she caused my trust issues! And now that other one, what's her name?"

"Julie?"

"Yes yes! Her! She cheated on me too! But I didn't propose to her!"

He smiles sadly at me. "Julie didn't cheat on you you douche bag!"

I laugh. "She kissed a guy. I think that counts as cheating mr.snicker. By the way do you have a Kit-Kat I can eat please?"

"First of all you are the most stupidest person I have ever met! And second, no she didn't cheat on you. She tripped, fell, was caught by a mysterious ass hole, and then was kissed by him...this all leads up to you being an ass and calling her terrible names that you won't be able to take back. So yes you are a fucking idiot, who has lost the only girl who has ever appreciated you and truly loves you with all of her soul, heart and body!" He shouts angrily at me.

It takes me a while to process that. "What?"

He scoffs. "You jumped to conclusions and lost her dude." He states

I widen my eyes as I finally understand. I think about all the terrible things I said to her, ignoring the fact that my head added in me calling her a snicker doodle with polka-dot hair. I stand up and stumble to the ground. I groan and grab my car keys.

"What the fuck are you doing?" He says taking the keys from me.

"Give em' back!! I need to go grovel at Julie's feet and ask for her forgiveness and say sorry!"

He laughs. "Dude your so drunk your not even saying things right! Here I'll drive you. Try chewing some gum, at least you won't reek of alcohol, take a shower too, ill wait." He says tossing me a piece of gum. I nod and head to the bathroom. I come out a second after.

"I forgot my towel." I mutter. He laughs.

After I get decent and chew my gum he drives me to her house. I pick up flowers, chocolates, a pair of earrings, a necklace, and a teddy bear on the way. Kyle laughs. "Gifts won't win her over you fucking dumb ass, she's different from the others." I sigh in defeat and decide to give them to her after she forgives me. Correction, IF she forgives me. He parks the car and waits in it taking out his phone to kill time. "You will be here for a while. Oh by the way, she crashed into a car while driving home because she was crying over you, another reason you will have to become her slave in order for her to even begin to forgive you. She's ok though." He says calmly.

"Oh shit. I'm so dead. Anything else I should know KYLE?" He shakes his head and I walk to her front door. I gulp and knock. Steph opens the door and begins to shut it when I put out my hand to stop her. "Go away!" She says frustrated. "I love her." I whisper. She rolls her eyes. "Hurt her again and I swear you won't wake up with legs." She says, glaring at me as she calls for Julie. She comes to the door. Ice Cream in her hand, her eyes blood shot red and her hair is a mess. She stares at me and closes the door. I stand there and knock again. She opens it again. This time her face is less red, she had no ice cream and her hair is neat. "What?" She asks quietly. Uhhh where do I begin?

"I am so sorry. I can't believe I said those things to you! Kyle told me the whole story and I feel like an idiot for not listening to you. I have been in love before and i proposed to her and found out that she later cheated on me! And I know that's not a valid excuse for what I said but I need you to hear me out like I should have heard you out. I am super drunk and I'm so sorry if I look like an idiot but for some reason my head feels super clear as I stand here saying this to you. I love you Julie Carolina Ramirez!
I want to spend my life with you when it comes to it! I know all these words can't make up for what I did but please at least give me a chance to make it up to you on a date! Please please please! I love you with all my heart! I'm so sorry, I will regret what I said for the rest of my life!" I kneel as I say this and ask for her hand by holding out mine.

She stares at me and I can see a mix of sadness, anger, I think love, and loneliness in her eyes. She scoffs. I plead with my eyes then I see Steph behind her, ease dropping no doubt.

She smiles and I stare at her, tilting my head. Julie looks back.

"STEPH I TOLD YOU TO STAY IN THE LIVING ROOM!" She shouts at her. She giggles and runs into the kitchen. I continue to recite my speech.

"Julie please, let me take you out for a day and I swear if you hate me after then I will leave you alone for the rest of my life!"

I notice Steph behind a bush outside. Must have sneaked out the back door. She peers at me and shakes her head asking me not to alert Julie. Julie peeks her head out and sees her.

"STEPHANIE MARIE RODRIGUEZ!!! GET YOUR LITTLE ASS INSIDE THIS HOUSE RIGHT NOW AND GO TO MY ROOM! I WANT YOU TO SIT IN THE CORNER AND THINK ABOUT WHAT YOU HAVE DONE!" She screams at her and I back away. Steph hangs her head and walks to the door.

"Thanks a lot." She mutters as she walks past me and I rub the back of my neck. Julie looks at me after Steph goes up the stairs. I plead with my eyes again and pout.

"One day. Starting at 8:00am and ending at midnight tomorrow." I jump with joy and nod taking her hands in mine. I kiss her right hand and then I want to kiss her but I know that's crossing the line.

I notice Steph at the top of the steps and shake my head laughing. Julie looks back to the door and sees her. Steph gasps and runs up he stairs screaming.

"WAIT TILL I GET MY HANDS ON YOU BITCH!" Julie shouts. I smile and she looks back at me.
"You hurt me." She whispers. My smile fades away.

"I know. I'm sorry." I respond. Tears stream down her face and I wipe them away. I hold her head and kiss her forehead. She looks down at our feet. I raise her chin.
"You are the most amazing girl I have ever met and I am not giving up on us, no matter how many fights we have. I will always love you Julie."

She nods and walks back inside. She doesn't look back and all I can think about is how I want to sweep her up and kiss her. God, I'd better win her back tomorrow. I walk back to the car and I hear screaming from back inside. I laugh and shake my head.

I get the things I bought her from the car and place them on her doorstep. I ring the door bell and then quickly get into the car. Kyle drives me home and I get a glimpse of Julie picking up the teddy bear and hugging it. I smile and stare out the window.
