Goodnight Part 8

Julie's P.O.V:

He walks me to my house and we stand on my front porch. He takes my hands and smiles at me.

"So are you going to go inside?" I laugh. No duh!

"yes, i am going to go inside Zach...." i smile at him and he hugs me tightly.

I snuggle up to him and he whispers
"I don't want to let go..." I squeeze his hand, stand on my tip toes and kiss him. He smiles.

"bye bye" I whisper. he chuckles.

"bye." I let go of his hand and slowly open the door.

"hey." He whispers. I look back at him and he leans in, he whispers
"Will you go on a date with me tomorrow?" I giggle and nod. He smiles. "I'll pick you up at 7:00pm?" I nod, hand him a piece of paper and walk into my house. I close the door and watch him leave from the window.

Zachary's P.O.V:

I wait until she closes the door and then start to walk away. I tuck the piece of paper into my pocket for safe-keeping and i walk home. When i get home Kyle is waiting for me at the door.

"It's about time you got here, what were you doing?" He smirks. "Because i know it's not better than what i did."
He laughs "Just kidding" i laugh lightly and then turn serious. "

"Ok so here's the deal Kyle...don't hurt Steph ok? I'm going to be dating Julie now...and she's her best friend so if she gets hurt Julie will be upset."

He smiles at me approvingly. "The same goes to you too, if Julie gets hurt so will Steph." I nod and we go inside, after he leaves at about 11:00 I remember the note Juliet passed to me. I hop onto my bed and look at it.

She gave me her number! I jump from joy and then i realize how stupid i must look, good thing Julie isn't with me.... I take out my phone and type in the number.

I add her as beautiful and then deleted that and added her as jewel wait no that's dumb what if she sees my phone?

I type in Julie and since i can't help myself i add a heart emoji. I go to the messages page and start to text her. It read:

hey julie it's me zach how are you? Wait no thats idiotic and predictable i delete that and type:

Hey Julie What are you doing? Cause I'm thinking about you ☺️

ugh I'm such a dumb ass! I delete everything and type in:

Hey Julie, It's Zach 🙃

I press send and wait for the response. A few minutes later my phone dings and it's my mom saying
Can you buy eggs tomorrow please? You are all out

I groan and lay back down, my phone chimes again and i perk up, I look at my phone and it's a text from Julie! It reads:

Hi......friend.

I smile and play along. i type:

How are you...friend? a few seconds later it dings again, it reads:

Hehe I'm great how are you?

Me: I'm good, now that I'm talking to you 😚

Her: Awww your so cliché!

Me: better get used to it, it's just me.

Her: Hmmm ok 😁

Me: so what are you doing beautiful?

Her: ☺️ I'm just laying on my bed and talking to you, hbu?

Me: I'm just talking to you, i don't want to be doing anything else 😊

Her: aww god you're too cute.

Me: Ok well it's pretty late why don't you go to sleep J?

Her: mmmm yeah your right. Goodnight.

I fall asleep thinking about Julie
