Party time Part 38

Julie's P.O.V:

I pull away from our kiss and check my phone.

"What time is the party at?" I ask Zach. He plays with my hair and stares at me.

"7:00pm" he answers.

"It's 6:00. Let's go get ready." I tell him. He groans.

"Let's not go to this party. Let's just stay here." He says and pulls me closer to him. He buries his head into my shoulder and kisses my neck.

"Zach." I mumble. He looks up at me and smirks.

"Fine." He says. I smile and walk to my walk-in closet. I pick out my clothes and head to my room. I take a quick shower and slip on a dark blue dress. It only has one sleeve. It has a brown leather belt and a necklace. I put on some blue and silver rings and silver bracelets. I leave my hair out and slip on some silver heels. I step out and see Zach walking out of his room too. He's wearing a black button up shirt and a pair of jeans. He has on a blue tie and some blue vans. He smirks when he sees me. He stares at my dress and I place my hand on my hip.

"Done checking me out?" I tease. He blushes and looks up at me.
"Aww your blushing!" I say while smiling. He rubs the back of his neck and takes my hand.

"Let's just go." He mutters, still blushing. I giggle and follow him to his car. He drives us to the party. When we get there it's already in full swing. We head to the bar.

"One beer." Zach orders and looks at me.

"I'll have a mango margarita please." I inform the waiter he nods. Damn. This guy Jay has a huge house! He has a bar, a pool and waiters going around taking people's orders. Wow. I glance around taking in the people dancing, drinking, laughing and having fun. Jack definitely would have been at this party. I frown. Stop thinking about Jack. He may have saved your life but you don't owe him anything!

I shake my head and take the margarita the waiter hands me. I thank him and drink it all. I set the cup down and see Zach looking at me.

"You okay?" He asks me.

I take his hand and pull him to the dance floor, pushing Jack out of my mind.
"Let's dance!" I shout over the music. Zach laughs and we dance to a few pop songs. Then a slow love song comes on and I wrap my arms around Zach. He sets his hands on my hips and pulls me close to him. Our foreheads touch. His breath tickles my nose and I shiver. Zach chuckles and kisses my nose. I lay my head on his shoulder and we dance.

I close my eyes as we slowly sway and Zach kisses my head. Suddenly someone yanks Zach away from me. I stand there shocked and and stare at Zach. A guy has confronted him.

"I like the girl your dancing with!" The guys shouts. I raise my eyebrow. The nerve of this guy. I roll my eyes and the guy turns to me.

"I like you." The guy says to me.

"Yeah I've heard." I say in a bored tone. He sets a hand on my shoulder and I stiffen up. Zach pulls him away.

"Don't touch her." He says, frustrated. The guy shoves Zach.

"I like her!" The guy shouts. Another guy comes up to the drunk guy.

"Dave, go lay down. Your drunk." The other guy says to the drunk guy which I'm guessing who's name is Dave.

Dave opens his mouth to reply but then closes it. He nods and heads towards the house.

"Sorry man. His best friend Jack just died. He's grieving." The other guy says to Zach.

"Nah it's cool, thanks Jay." Zach says to him. They smile at each other.

"So you decided to come?" The guy named Jay asks Zach. Oh, he's the host! Duh. I mentally face palm myself.

"Yeah."

"Who's your lady friend." He says glancing towards me. Before Zach can answer Jay strides towards  me.

"Is your name Bluetooth? Cuz I'm really feeling a connection." Jay flirtatiously says to me. I laugh and Zach puts his arm around my shoulder.

"Sorry dude, she's mine." Zach says and kisses me cheek. I wrap my arms around his waist and kiss him. Jay groans.

"Man and that was a good pick up line too." Jay says with a disappointed frown.

"Sorry." I tell him. He shrugs and turns his attention to a girl who is near us.

"Can I have your picture so I can show Santa what I want for Christmas?" Jay asks the girl. She giggle and twirls her hair around her finger. I roll my eyes and Zach starts laughing.

"Dude that's so cheesy!" Zach says and Jay walks back over to us.

"Oh really, got anything better?" He asks, smirking.

Zach nods and turns to me, "let's commit the perfect crime: I'll steal your heart and you'll steal mine." Zach says to me, smirking.

Jay laughs and I kiss Zach.

"Nah man, let me show you some skills." Jay smirks and tails a girl over to his side. She looks at him and he says, "I've got skittles in my mouth, wanna taste the rainbow?" He says. I start cracking up. The girl rolls her eyes and walks away. Me and Zach laugh harder.

"Ok, ok. She was a dud. Watch this." We watch as Jay walks over to a girl. We get closer to listen.

"Crap, something is wrong with my cell phone!" Jay tells her. She tilts her head.

"Ummm...what's wrong?" She asks him

"It's just that.....your number isn't in it." He looks at her, pouting and she smiles she takes his phone and adds in her number. She kissed his cheek and walks away. Jay looks at us.

"See, mad skills." He says flipping up his collar. I laugh.

"Alright, I bet you can't get that girl's number." Zach says, pointing to a girl in a red dress.

Jay smirks and goes over to her. He takes her hand and pulls her to us. She looks at him in shock.

"What the fuck?" She says.

He smiles innocently at her as we watch.
"Your lips look so lonely......would they like to meet mine?" He asks softly.

"Please." The girl scoffs and looks away. Zach starts laughing and Jay shoots him a glare.

"Ok, can I tell you something?" He asks. She looks back at him with a bored look on her face.
"I just want you to know that it's not my fault I fell for you, because you tripped me." He says softly. She laughs and yawns. He looks at me with a troubled look and I burst out laughing. The girls looks at me.

"How many girls has he tried to pick up with those lines?" She asks me. I laugh.

"About 4."

"Figures." She says. "Bye pretty boy." She says and plants a kiss on his cheek. He mutters something and before she leaves he says,

"I want to tell you your fortune." She glances back and he takes her hand and takes out a pen and writes down his number on her hand. "Your future is clear." He says and bows. He glances up and she's grinning.

"I'll call you when I'm bored." She says. He shrugs and nods. Me and Zach laugh and we spend the night laughing and having fun.
